"Daniel of L & S did a great job! He arrived on time first thing in the morning. He removed the old opener, installed the new one, changed out the door button, installed an outdoor key pad opener, adjusted the springs, lubricated all the moving parts and reprogrammed my car opener. Daniel was polite, personable, hard working and knows everything about garage doors. The opener they sold me is of the highest quality. Boy the difference is amazing. All the noise is gone. The new one has a back up battery which is great since I've had several electrical outages where I could't get my car out of the garage since I'm not strong enough to manually lift and close the door. The new one can also be controlled via an Ap from my phone in case I forget to lower the door, which has happened. This is the second time I have used L & S and they were terrific both times. Blayne also gave me a 5% Angie's List discount. I highly recommend them for anything to do with garage doors or openers. The price was quite reasonable for the total job."

Why do I recommend Jeff? 1. Jeff arrived on time for both the estimate and the installation. 2. During his appraisal of the size needed, I asked Jeff why my door would not shut completely unless I pushed the remote or wall operative several times. After observing the door when I attempted to close the door, he pinpointed the problem. He not only fixed this issue, but he also checked and tightened all the bolts and screws. Many were very loose. Jeff did this without expecting any compensation and we had not yet discussed pricing of door replacement! 3. Jeff removed the old wooden door and installed a new steel door within 4 hours. "Technician arrived a bit late, but got the job done in under an hour. He was very nice. I found this company because of their Angi offer for 199 spring replacement but found out this does not apply to wood doors which I apparently have, and now I see on the deal, nobody asked me when I called about this deal to confirm this, so I found out at the last minute that it could not be for 199, so I was kinda forced to accept the new price even though I had other vendors that can do it for less because I had to get it done in short order and only learned at the late appointment this was not going to be the price. You know how that feeling goes when you think its one price, and then at the last minute it wasn't going to be that? Horrible feeling. I knocked off one star for that, besides the price, everything else was great."
