"OK in general. The work was delayed a lot by the weather. The rotten top two 2x4 beams (10 feet long) were removed and replaced and primer placed on the bare wood during the first visit. That part of the job was excellent. When it came time to paint the new wood, the worked thought he was to do the carpentry work first. He noted it was done and offered to paint the entire trellis. He used a roller then a brush, but it was blue on blue, and I couldn't tell if anything was not painted. However it was clear he did not cover the white primer on the new wood well at all. There were multiple white areas showing. This could not be seen at eye level, but was glaringly obvious as you went up the stairs to our front porch, and was easily seen from the porch. I reported this to the manager, and she sent out a professional to finish the job correctly."

"It went wonderful. Yes, pictures are included from the bad project aka what they had to fix, to the crew making the kitchen beautiful and a delight for my family and me to really enjoy. They fixed all the bathroom faucets. They fixed two broken drawers. They took the moldy fan(pictured) and replaced it with beautiful lights I bought from IKEA. And they painted the ceiling area where the roof leak damage occurred. Will show as many photos as I can submit. Dean, Garman, and Matt were a great team and I am so glad that I found them. And I found them here through Angie's List. Pricing was done on individual projects at different interludes. Thus does not reflect entire projects costs overall. I forgot the overall costs as we were adding on projects to a fixer-upper. Yet Action Door-Dean was very amazing and priced as such for me."

"Colmar Contracting is the best. We contacted four separate contractors in May/June for estimates to paint our home this summer. We were reluctant to bring in others to work on our home as we try to do all of our own house projects. Painting is not one of our strengths and therefore we decided to contract out for quality of work and timely completion of such a large project. With most estimates being fairly similar, we decided to work with Colmar and were not disappointed. Along with listening to our ideas as to what we wanted, they also provided expert insight into those ideas and helped shape our final decisions. The painters showed up promptly and ready to work hard every day. They were very accommodating to me as I was off work and home during the time frame they were working in our home. The painters were friendly, courteous, and attentive to our requests. They finished painting our entire home in only eight days. Our biggest concern was attention to detail and we are very impressed with the quality of their wok as well as their willingness to meet our demands and go above and beyond expectations. We look forward to working with Colmar Contracting in the future and recommend their services without reservation!

"My historic home required significant plaster and drywall repairs after upgrading all of the wiring on our 2nd floor. Nate and his team were great to work with. I initially sent Nate a link to photos of the walls and ceilings that required repairs. He contacted me by phone to get more information and ask me questions relevant to getting the job done. He was able to provide an estimate based on this information, and he explained when he could start and how long he expected the work to take. Nate finalized the pricing once he arrived on site to see in person what needed to be done, and that was lower than his initial estimate. We communicated well with each other throughout the project. Nate and his team were professional and did a really good job. I would recommend his services to others, and plan on having him back to do more work on my home."
