"We hired Steve and his company based on the reviews. The result is horrible. We asked for the floors to be leveled with padding during the installation, and they did zero. The floors are uneven and it feels like I am walking on uneven ground with different elevations. The transition to my kids bathroom is horrible; pieces of wood stick out, and one of my kids has already hurt her foot. Numerous chips were on the floor because they were not careful during cutting and installation. The floors are squeaking like an 18th-century floor. Horrible communication with the owner, who did not come back to fix the issues. Do NOT HIRE THEM!"

"The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."
