Hello there! I'm a Saint Charles/Saint Louis native and an experienced carpenter and remodeller of 17 years! Been in my own business since 2022. I love to do beautiful work at reasonable prices. I am focused on design-minded small construction and carpentry--this means that I am not primarily so focused on flashy features and the newest updates, and more focused on how I can create a project with you that makes sense with your specific house and it's architectural design. I love working with wood the most but really love doing most anything on a home and happy to do handyman work here and there as well. Please reach out so we can start a conversation! "David gave me what I thought was a fair price for the work to be done. He asked for 1/2 up front. As a previous small business owner I did not feel this was unreasonable so I paid him 500.00. He estimated the work would take 3 to four days and I thought the same. After several no shows the "mason" showed up. The first clue was he came in a car. According to my wife he was here 2 hours and left, came back for another 2 hours the next day and left again. He said nothing to my wife about leaving or when he would be back. David called a day later to ask about coming out to look over the job and get the rest of the other 500.00. I said he isn't finished and he's only been here 4 hours. So then I looked up the prevailing wage in IL for a mason and found out it is 28.50 an hour. The next day the guy comes back for another 3 hours. David came to look at the work and I walked him around and showed him all of the places that had not been done. So the guy comes back again for about an hour. All told it was 8 hours work, nothing to write home about but it was agreed up front that I wasn't looking for an exposed brick look. I need it tuck pointed well enough so that I could drylock and paint the exposed brick. I will say this was done in the end. The worker left a mess that I and my wife had to clean up, I pointed this out to David as well. I told him I felt he was overly paid for the amount of work preformed and that was the end of it. It's really to bad. It's difficult to get contractors to do small jobs and I had plenty for him to do. I'm not unhappy, just would not hire again"

"We had a different person who came out before them who was horrible and then I tried Crawlspace/Basement Waterproofing Solution because they were reasonably priced and they worked with me on scheduling their time so that they would be there when the electrician are there. They worked together with the electricians and were all done. They were wonderful. It was an all-day project but everybody worked together. Everybody showed up, everybody cooperated, and it was all done in one day with a big job. They were very good with the whole thing. The price was really good deal and all they have to do is seal from the outside to the inside. The biggest thing for us is that, they were here when everybody is here to do one thing. They are really good and we only had one problem but it was all filled up. This company gave exactly what we needed, showed up when they are supposed to, and did a great job. It was perfect. I would recommend right away to anybody before anybody else.  We were very impressed with them."

"They were nice and they did a fine job but I was expecting them to do something else in addition to that and I just happen to arrive home when they were in the process of cleaning the gutters. Apparently, they did a special and they were swamped they told me and no one told me they were coming. They didn't make a call saying we're going to be there at this hour. I didn't know they were going to show up that day much less what time and I just happen to show up when they were working and I was getting ready to explain a particular procedure that I wanted on a downspout and I couldn't do that if they had come and gone without me seeing them so I was a little unhappy with that but then it turns out they don't do the procedure that we were hoping for. My wife saw the deal online. So then, I said could you contact your boss and have him call me and let me know if this is something that he could do, maybe it would cost me more money, and no one ever called back. They were just head down, their back was up and they were working hard but they weren't calling and letting us know. They just showed up to do it. I guess I'm not used to that. I was expecting more from customer service and I think that personally, I don't care how small you are especially when you're starting out. If you have to go home and eat dinner and make phone calls, that's what you do. I'm not sure if I would use them again."

"It was fine. The original design didn’t meet my needs based on the information I provided them. However, they revised the plans which worked out better for me. They were able to get the first draft to me pretty quickly."
