"They sent out Victor. He is a nice guy. We have dealt with him a couple of times before. He brought the parts with him, and had the seal fixed in under an hour. The price was reasonable, and thanks to the good people at My Appliance Repair Houston the whole experience was very painless. This is a great company, and great service companies are hard to find. If you have a broken appliance in the Houston area you should give them a call."

"Very satisfied with the workmanship of the final installation. The work crew (2 men) were friendly and professional. They removed and replaced the water heaters in the attic above my second story. I had a leak in one of the original heaters and the owner had sent a plumber over to survey the job and give me a price, and to disconnect the leaking tank and cap the plumbing before the weekend. The second crew returned on Tuesday to complete the replacement. They arrived in the morning as promised and completed the job in about 2 hours.
The plumber who came to secure the system before the weekend seemed a bit less than enthusiastic about being there, and was a little discouraging about how soon they could do the rest of the job. He also relayed the cost estimate from the owner but was not very well prepared to explain the differences in the cost options (different warranty lengths of 6, 8, 10, or 12 years, but not much info on what was physically different, or what model heaters/ features they were using, except the brand name. Bay Coast seems to use Rheem exclusively.) I called the owner and got a better explanation of the differences, and settled on the 8 year warranty version which was a slightly higher efficiency heater - EF of .62, with more insulation than the 6 year tank that was EF of .59.
On the day of installation the crew arrived with a different heater than the one I had selected. They were the 6 year heaters but they added the Rheem Protection Plus extra anode kit that extends the warranty to 10 years, which is a good thing - more expensive in the original list of options - but it did not have some of the other features I was anticipating (more insulation and other anti corrosion features). The crew told me the warehouse did not have the other tanks in stock. It may be negligible difference, but I felt I should have been told rather than just showing up with a different heater. After all is said and done I would say the difference between the options was not effectively explained in advance and I had to do a fair bit of research online to understand the differences, and then they installed something different anyway. For that reason I gave a B for professionalism which I still think is good, but didn't qualify as "Excellent".
The price for the work was $2150, which again was probably a fair price, but in line with other estimates and not especially better than others, so I graded them a B on price.
I am happy with the end result so far, and would use them again, but for a large job I would make sure to get a written estimate with clearer specifics on the units to be installed.

"Tech came to house to check on oven's dim LED display. Didn't even open (unscrew) LED display panel. Gave a very expensive quote to replace circuit board panel (almost cost as much as buying a brand new oven). We declined. Tech left. I called back to discuss fix, still too expensive. Guess we'll live with good working oven, just dim LED display.

"The repairs went well and the people they sent were professional and stayed on the job until I was satisfied. Their limits do not cover the cost of major repairs but it is still cheaper than paying the total myself. They are prompt to respond that they are working on my work order. I live in a rural area and they have problems at times finding someone who will work with them in my area. The do offer to allow me to get the repairs done and they will reimburse. The one problem I had that made me unhappy was when my microwave broke they offered very little to replace it. AND, they would not replace it themselves nor do the installation as my contract stated they would."

"It's insurance for all appliances and also they came her for my stove. I pay them month to month. I'm happy with them. Price is good. We don't pay, I fix it and they, everything is paid for. I don't have to pay anything. If my refrigerator goes bye bye they will replace it for free. They are very professional. We have had them for year. They also came here for my stove because something when wrong with the door, the oven door. I have a commercial oven and he door just won't shut so something when wrong with it, and they fixed it. I pay them month to month. I'm happy with them. Price is good. We don't pay, I fix it and they, everything is paid for. I don't have to pay anything. I don't have to pay anything. If my refrigerator goes bye bye, they will replace it for free. They are very professional. We have had them for years. We used them at our other house also. I think it was the air conditioner that went out. They replaced it, the whole thing. They were recommended to us by somebody who's been with them for years. And, like thank god because a year later the damn air conditioner went out. So we were able to use it."
