"When I bought my house nearly twenty years ago, I promised myself that I would do everything that I could to take good care of it. My home is a 1941 bungalow, and all the plumbing needed to be updated. Thankfully, I found Pacific Crest Plumbing on Angie’s list, and for the past eighteen years Nick, the owner, has faithfully and skillfully responded to all of my SOS plumbing calls. He has navigated the tricky basement stairs with a bulky water heater in tow and installed it with a special alarm that will ring if there is a malfunction. He has put in new water saving toilets, replaced dripping shower fixtures, unclogged sinks and drains and made sure that my entire plumbing infrastructure runs smoothly and safely. In addition, Nick brings a lot of wonderful personal qualities to the trade. He is trustworthy and respectful. He has a great sense of humor. He can be counted on. Back in the day, I would refer to rare individuals, like Nick, as being “the salt of the earth.” He certainly embodies these precious qualities."

"Tree roots backed my sewer up into the basement. I wish I would have called Clogbusters first. Their customer service went above and beyond, with Tom answering questions to help me navigate the options along the way. He was respectful of my anxiety and helped me understand with strait forward explanations. Each team member brought old school professionalism and skills. His crew was friendly and did a top notch job completing a task that the previous plumbers failed to do (and they had also charged me 4x the price). I feel more at ease knowing who to call now whenever a plumbing need arise. This team is smart, savvy, talented, and good spirited. Highly recommend!"

"this is my second review. I am totally confused by this company. If I could add to my first review I would. This is what happened: I contacted them to come out to a rental property to fix a run on toilet. They came out and I was told the toilet was fixed. When I received the bill months later it had been sent through my lawyer of my trust even though I had given them my address, they went online to find the owner of the property etc. So they did not keep a record of my address or phone number that I had given them. (this ties in later). On the bill it said, leaky faucet. I called them and said I wish they had called me when they were AT the property as there is always a fee to just show up - they could have fixed the faucet WHILE they were there. Tony (or Kyle, but I think it was tony) said so sorry and he would go back out and fix it and even throw in the faucet (that he has at the office) to make that up to me. I said well, thank you but will it fit that old sink? He said to email photos of the sink. I did. I then emailed many more times and called many times and never heard back. So I came in to angies list to right my first review. THEN Tony called. He apoligized and told me how many properties they manage well and they wanted to make it up to me. I had by this time ordered the correct faucet so they went out to install it at no charge. They sent a "bill" for $750 (but no charge) and it showed many other items they did for free that were kind of vague to me but I am not a plumber - like teaching the tenants how to use the kitchen faucet without it making a humming noise (I didnt know it did that or why). But I thought ok, good. It's all fixed. Then I emailed them again months later and reported that there was a leak in the basement and I sent photos of the leak of the pipes above the clothes washing machine to be very clear what work needed to be done. Tony wrote me back about what he suspects the leak in the basement is from and an estimate on the cost to clean out that pipe etc - I agreed and CC-ed my new (second floor) tenant so they could work out when to go back out and get access to basement. THEN my new tenant informs me the toilet is leaking. I check in with previous tenant and say, I thought that was fixed? - and I was informed "partly, the plumbers had said they'd come back out with some chain part but never did" - I reported this to Tony and said, while you are there can you also finish up the work on the toilet upstairs. He arranges a time with my tenant. I get the bill and it charges me again $175 to fix the toilet (now third time working in that bathroom and I was charged for the visit and the work twice but whatever, hopefully now the toilet is finally fixed once and for all). THEN i get the bill and it only mentions the toilet repair. No mention of the reason I had emailed tony - about the leak in the basement. I pull up the email to Tony and his response and send it to him and say, what about the lack in the basement?. - AND HIS RESPONSE IS: "The tenant didn’t mention anything and I personally entered your last service call to make sure we didn’t screw up" - I said, scroll down in this very email! He then offered to go back out and check the leak in the basement now. So three trips to fix the toilet. Got other random free stuff and now I have to call them out AGAIN to check the leak in the basement that has been now going for 2 months...What more can i do to be clear? I honestly think they are trying to do a good job but have ZERO office staff and their communication lines in the office and also between the office and the men on the site are terrible. They have no communication with the guys they send out there. I'd LOVE to find a reliable plumber but I don't know how to help them anymore. I literally can't be any clearer. UPDATE: One year later the toilet was not working AGAIN. Some issues. It was never fixed. I called Sutherland Plumbing and Shawn replaced the toilet. UGH."

"Adrian quickly diagnosed our issue to be a failed shower cartridge. He installed a new cartridge and tested to be sure that the problem was resolved. Adrian was prompt, on-time, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I have found "my plumber"."

"My neighbor recommended them to me. I had a water leak coming out of my wall in the garage. They were able to come out that day. Lutheran did a great job, found the leak, replaced my pipe in the wall, no trip charge and was straight forward with the cost of everything. Even had me initial the charges before they got started. Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable and went above and beyond cleaning up everything!! Highly recommend. I will definitely use them again!!"

"Very good job and price. I would like to particularly thank Josh White who did an excellent job and went out of his way to fund $195 for a service that I later decided was not necessary (which I had already paid for but had not received). Thanks a lot Josh!!!!"

"WARNING!!They will take advantage of you. Save thousands by calling SERVPRO or any other reputable company! I am a business owner with multiple locations. We have always used Servpro when we have had a broken pipe, damaged sprinkler head or septic issue. In the last incident, family friends, who own a local septic clog removal service suggested using 1-800-water damage instead of Servpro, as they heard they were cheaper. The manager did call them. I was shocked at the people who arrived. The appearance of the people was unprofessional to say the least. Next they cam in and asked why are we here as there is no water. I explained the employees had cleaned the water from the broken sprinkler head, and that our concern was with the insulation in the attic around the pipe where we could not get to. They stated they had to get someone to asbestos test the insulation and that would rush that. They then started walking around stating they may need to pull up our WATERPROOF luxury vinyl flooring we had installed only 5 years ago!! I said absolutely not and asked why would you even think that and they said well it could damage the floor under…. Our floors are cement slab and the vinyl was commercial and professionally installed. The water had only come from the pipe for roughly 5 mins before the water was shut off. I knew then that these guys either didn’t know what they were doing, or more likely were looking to make the most money they could off each job regardless of the need. They then walked around chatting finally took some hand held moisture testers which they mostly used while walking not on any of they walls. They ended up leaving many dehumidifiers for a building that had a small amount of water in the front part of the entry only. Three days later they call saying that they have to put multiple holes in our interior walls and pump on air to dry out they walls!!! I asked them why and they said they had detected moisture. I asked them in which walls of our over 6000 sq ft building as none of the walls were wet and they had commercial base on the bottom so only minimal if any water could have gotten at the very bottom only before it was cleaned up. He answer “umm well… all of them” he wanted the punch multiple holes in each wall throughout my building! I said he was being insane. That the water didn’t hit 3/4 of the building. I told him I wanted to see moisture readings from the walls in the back and he said well…. “It’s more that we detected moisture in the hall entryway …. Not on the walls themselves”. I told him that if he where to do this we would have to shut our business down because every room would have big machines. We likely would loose multiple clients and potentially tens of thousands of dollars and then we would have to pay to repair the walls on top of that. There was no way for a small and brief water damage to have caused this devastating result when the floors hadn’t even been exposed to water for most of the building. They had never even tried to take sample or remove the wet insulation which was our only real concern. Finally I told them I was going to call Servpro for a second opinion and this young man then said that it wasn’t up to me! That the building owner had signed off ….. A COMPLETE LIE… I called SERVPRO, who came out stated first, the building had no need for that much dehumidifier. Second that simply removing a small bit of the rubber base cove in the entrance would allow the air to dry the very minimal amount of water on the very edge of the Sheetrock behind the base cove. Additionally, they said that as interior walls that have no insulation in them, that there was no need to put holes in any walls as the water would not accumulate there without insulation to hold it. They said it was clear this company 1-800 was trying to get tens of thousands of dollars from us when it was completely unnecessary. The worst part is they knew we would loose customers possibly have to permanently shut down and had no care they just think oh well that is what insurance is for!"
