"While the quality of work and clean up performed by the crew was outstanding and Iâ m pleased with the finished product the crew didnâ t arrive until almost 11 and didnâ t leave until 9 PM. While I appreciate the goal of a new bathtub/shower replaced in as little as a day working until 9 PM is not acceptable. When setting up the appointment it needs to be stated very clearly what the expectations are for the day. As I said, Iâ m very happy with the finished product but 20k which includes no installation cost is way too much for what was actually provided."

"Dave and his team are top notch. Dave listens to your ideas and offers some wonderful ideas of his own. He started the 6 week job on time and finished on time. His team were professional, courteous and, most of all, very tidy. They cleaned up the mess everyday. Dave was recommended to me by a neighbor that renovated their home. In fact he is here again right now building a mantle for my center fireplace. I will also hire him to install a tile back splash over my stove. His prices are very reasonable and competitive with other contractors out there. I am now living full time in a home that previously I lived in April through October. "I hired Jev Jesjunins as general contractor/project manager to renovate and rebuild a mid-1950’s ranch home in Portland which had not been updated since initial construction. During the process we discovered many unanticipated problems from leaking pipes and leaking basement walls to seemingly unending roadblocks with the City's building department. All issues were resolved in a highly professional and efficient manner. In addition to managing the project and working with subcontractors, Jev’s company was directly involved in rough and finished carpentry, sheetrock hanging/finishing, windows/doors installation, insulation, building the garage and mudroom, front porch, and back deck. His company also handled gutters installation; interior and exterior painting and various handyman projects. Jev was also a great partner in questions of design. I would like to emphasize the great result of my new three bathrooms (there was originally only one). They are pieces of art. Jev's crew which includes a designer, plumbers, electricians, cabinet makers, and tile installers created outstanding looking bathrooms with lots of unique fixtures - steam/shower cabin, jacuzzi, heated floors, smart toilets, unique selection of floor and wall tiles, closets, and shelving."

"Pacific Stone and Tiles came to measure and showed about 6 choices for granite selection for the offer price. We were working with our own interior designer and we were on FaceTime with her. She nixed the 6 choices so Pacific Stone showed us another granite which was from India and was mostly white with few markings and some reddish-brownish highlights. The effect of this Indian granite was white and it coordinated nicely with our maple cabinets. Our interior designer told us to choose that and we agreed to pay Pacific Stone $1000. more for this granite from India. No name was given for this new granite in writing. When the day of installation came, the old countertop was removed. I did not think to go out and look at the granite in the truck before installation. The installation was done very efficiently and very nicely. However, the countertop did not look like what we were expecting. The color effect was gray with many markings. We were expecting a whitish granite and got gray. I asked to see the original sample that we had been shown when we selected the white granite but they did not have it on the truck. I contacted Pacific Stone and they emailed me a photo of what they said was the granite sample they showed me, but it did not look what they showed me. The granite we got was called moon white on the final bill but it had no name on the original invoice we signed. I made a number of inquiries about the discrepancy between the granite color we expected and what we received. Pacific Stone said there are natural variations in the appearance of each granite variety. However, we paid $1000 more because we thought we were getting the granite color we and our interior designer viewed and chose. I don't think I got the granite we selected and feel I paid $1000 too much. I now have to figure out how to get the granite to coordinate with the maple cabinets as well as regretting that I paid $1000 more than I should have."
