"The contractor completed all gutters in one day in the rain and til dusk without a break.. He really worked hard for his pay. Very polite. I supplied him with hot coffee. Got several inches of snow followed by a hard freeze in January. When it got above freezing water poured over the gutters and froze at night creating an ice problem at the front door. Will see how the gutters work in a hard rain in summer."

However, the Blue Ribbon Exteriors installation team should be very careful with existing home features that they come into contact with. Many of the original flashing, gutters, and trim features of the home were damaged when the project was completed. Also, scaffolding that was installed at the rear of the home was not properly stabilized and supported which collapsed (in wind) and damaged an existing composite deck. Although, the roof looked good when it was done and there has not been any leaking issues or shingle loss in the past year. The "Would you hire again" question should have a "Maybe" option which I surely would select after this experience."

He walked us through the replacement start-to-finish and helped us pick all the options we needed. One of the reasons we went with KES is because of the additional services they provide when compared to other roofers, as explained by Ron. They use stainless steel nails and GAF shingles, which allowed KES to offer us a very good warranty on the roof, which was important to us. The skylight was done perfectly, also. We are very happy and would not hesitate to call KES again in the future when we need our siding done."
