"Damion was our service technician and he came to clear the roots out of our drains. That was successful but in the process, he expressed concern over the gasket on the sewer plug and tested it to be sure it was firmly sealed. It appeared to be and he had us flush toilets and run faucets to be sure. The seal appeared solid but overnight it slowly showed a leak. We called Reddi Services and Damion was back early the next day to replace the part. He didn't charge us a service call for the second visit and even ran out to find the piece needed (he didn't have the part in his truck so he ran out to find it and charged us just for the part.). We're very satisfied with Reddi Service, have used them several times in the past, and will continue to use their technicians."

"The sink had very thick and longtime build-up that was mostly clogging a big section of pipe and not able to be opened with a "snake". Several feet of pipe had to be removed and replaced. Once the occluded piece was removed, Kyle showed me the ends of the pipe after it was removed and why just trying to shift the caked in debris wouldn't work in this case. I appreciated him showing me (including some photos, as I have a crawl space) along with explaining so I had a better understanding. He was considerate in explanations of the work, wearing a mask, punctuality and in cleaning up after."

"Randy did an excellent job.  He is very efficient,  knowledgeable (he is a Master Plumber) and friendly.  He had a  fair <br /> price for the time he spent.  We asked him several plumbing questions unrelated to the work that he did and he was really helpful in answering them. We would very much recommend Randy Farris Plumbing. <br />"

"We hired the wrong company last October and the connection at the foundation and the tank had failed. Joe and Ryan along with Eric the backhoe operator were very professional. Joe is THE master plumber! He took pictures of everything. He documented the failures. He corrected the mistakes the previous company made. He even had to reconnect the baffle inside the septic tank (that meant he had to get into the septic tank!) Ryan the apprentice worked hard at whatever needed to be done. And Eric works a backhoe with such awesome precision! He actually left our yard in better shape after the last joker left a big ditch. We already have new grass sprouting from the seed they left behind."

"Sean arrived at the appointed time (early morning), he capped off the piping so that new siding could be installed in the area of the faucets.  Water interruption to the house was minimal.  Once the siding was installed, Sean returned in the early afternoon and installed the two new faucets.  Again, water interruption to the house was minimal, and the faucets were installed correctly.  I was completely satisfied with the responsiveness of GRT Plumbing staff, and the professionalism Sean displayed during the installation.  I would recommend GRT Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing assistance. <br />"

"Dale and Ron were outstanding technicians they installed a natural gas hot water heater, bathroom faucet, and handicapped proof my bathroom/shower. I was coming home from rehab, and needed my shower with handicap rails, they came out promptly installed the handicap rails so I could come home. Then my hot water heater went out again they came over promptly, and then the bathroom faucet went out, a third time they came over. Each time Dale or Ron were so kind, clean, and professional, and answered all my questions, and concerns about natural gas and #Warranty. I would use them and recommend them wholeheartedly."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Harrisonville, MO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
