"Freedom Fence & Deck did a fantastic job replacing our 35-year-old wood fence with a beautiful white vinyl fence. Jim (the salesman) was very easy to work with and accommodated all of our design choices. We found particular latches and handles that we wanted to use, and they agreed to install them for us. The contract process was quick and straightforward. After about six weeks, they were ready to install the fence. They sent out two crews at the same time, plus the owner Steve, who worked alongside them. With seven people working, they managed to finish the entire job in just one day! Our old wood fence was completely removed in about 15 minutes, and then they meticulously installed the new fence, setting all the posts into wet concrete and making sure all the sections were straight. At the end of the long day, when one of the locking gate latches wasn’t working right, Steve patiently worked on it until eventually we realized the part was defective, so he replaced it with a working one. A certain kind of handle had to be ordered, and as soon as it came in, he came back to install it. The fence materials are extremely high quality—the vinyl feels very thick and sturdy, unlike the kind sold at the home improvement stores. And the new fence has completely transformed the look of our property—we’ve already had several compliments from neighbors. The whole process couldn’t have gone better, and I’m happy to recommend Freedom Fence & Deck for all your fencing needs!"

"Mel was very responsive, provided an estimate very quickly and was able to schedule the job within two days of being contacted. The crew did an excellent job, showing a lot of responsiveness to our concerns and needs. The company even offered to change the bulbs I had asked them to install for free, when I realized they were not the right color. Overall, excellent company. "I'll start this review by saying that to me, the "end result" is what counts most.  And Neale and his company produced exactly the custom look security fence I had envisioned.  This was a bit of an unusual request, because even though many people have iron bars welded over their A/C units for security, I needed two large, expensive (side by side) heat pumps protected.  Also, I felt a "security fence" would look better than just metal bars.  So here was my experience: After 1st calling and getting leaving a message with an assistant, it did take a few days but Neale called me back to set up an appointment to give an estimate.  He arrived right on time, took a look at the situation, and after a few minutes of brainstorming we were on exactly the same page in terms of design - and I liked how he sketched it out.  I also felt his quote was very reasonable (his was the 3rd estimate I had gotten).  And I don't know, there was just something about Neale, I could tell he had a *passion* for security fencing and "keeping crooks out" so to speak.  After getting my estimate in writing via email later that day, I put down my (1/3) deposit.  About a week later, after fabricating much of the fence in his shop, Neale and his team arrived and got to work fast.  I took them 2 days total, which was fine (day #1 they installed the fence posts and the concrete needed to set overnight).  Day# was most of the assembly,  welding and the paint job. Now, about 2 weeks later, I am extremely happy with the final result.  Very secure, and very sharp looking!  Even the gloss black paint job is very nice.  My neighbors have made several admiring comments over the past week also.  The only thing I could fault, if anything, would be if speed - is critical too you.Baltimore Wrought does seem like a busy company so don't be surprised if there is a week or so delay / backlog.  Also, they do prefer cash payment vs credit card.  (I did my deposit on credit card and paid the final 2/3 cash).  But  these minimal factors were not a big deal for me, because *high quality* work and to a lesser extent, total price, were all I really cared about - and these guys definitely delivered on both!

"We are having a fence put up along our property lines and needed several shrubs and small trees cleared out. I called Freestate on Friday, the 25th and was able to set up an estimate for the following Sunday morning. Ben showed up on time, gave an estimate and confirmed they would be able to get me on the schedule for that week.
He promised to follow up with me right away to confirm the details. I received a voicemail later in the day confirming that we were on the schedule for the following day! We had a couple emails back and forth and received extremely fast responses each time.
As promised, the crew came out on Monday and removed everything. They did a great job clearing everything out without leaving any debris. The stumps were also ground out and my lot looks like there were never any shrubs/ trees planted in that location.
We had a great experience from the first phone call through the completion of the job and would recommend them to anyone needing tree work.

"The provider was called regarding a gutter issue. When the provider arrived, he checked the roof and told us that it needed repair or replacement. He gave us estimates for both. Based on the estimates, we decided to have the roof replaced and at the same time, the gutters would be repaired. The roof looks good, however, we have not had any heavy rain since that time to confirm the gutters are fixed. We put down a 1/3 deposit on the roof and have not received a copy of their signed contract nor the 50 Year Transferable Warranty, which was the selling point of having the new roof put on. The morning the workman showed up to replace the roof, they asked my husband for more money up front. He said no, that in compliance with the contract, they would get the balance after the roof was replaced - that is what we did. They have been paid in full. We have tried to reach Jack Walker, the owner of Home Pro Roofing & Remodeling, since the roof was replaced and we have been unable to reach him via his office and cell phone numbers."

"A SUV rolled through my fence! Left a 16 foot gap in the fence and tore up my retaining wall. Mark was very prompt, seemed pretty upfront and honest about the whole process, and gave one of the most competitive quotes so I went with him. They came out and rebuilt the missing portion of the fence in one day. It looks like good quality work to me. I am pretty happy and will probably contact them if I need work done in the future.

"Whenever I hire painters from Kargmans, they consistently do excellent work regardless of the project type. As with all contractors, on-site communication before, during and after the project is the key to success. Randy and his teammate (apologies, I forgot to write down your name) started this work by doing some extra prep tasks that my husband had not been able to complete. When I pointed out the areas that needed small repairs or sanding, they got to work right away and handled these tasks in a very professional manner. When it turned out that I had gotten the wrong color paint for one of the rooms (which I discovered after they had already started to paint the closet), Randy told me that there were no problems. He would let the closet paint dry and start over again with the replacement color paint. No matter what task I asked them to do, they completed each job with professionalism, courtesy and good humor. I will continue to hire Kargman's painters for each area of my renovation. Over the past three years, they have water-proof painted my basement, sealed new wallboard, painted the kitchen, family area, living room, hallways and now the bedrooms and bath. As long as you communicate clearly verbally (yes, some of the painters speak Spanish and I do not) and with actions, you will get exactly what you need/want/paid for. I highly recommend these professionals."
