"Tim and his crew are amazing. Professional, extremely hardworking. Can’t say enough good things about them. Tim managed the project beautifully - sprinkler guys and cement guys. I recommend him without hesitation. He also renovated our fireplace - with stone and Bluestone hearth - it came out gorgeous! It is the centerpiece of our home. Price was fair. They were respectful of our property and dogs!"

"Excellent work by Carlos and his team at C & G Builders. From the very beginning, the professionalism and honesty was apparent and that carried all the way to the completion. Unlike other contractors, Carlos is a big communicator that takes pride in his work. He makes sure that projects are explained thoroughly and is always available to answer questions. Lastly, Carlos is a carpenter by trade and built much of the furniture used, which saved a lot of time and money. My renovation was expected to be completed in 4 months and Carlos delivered on that timeframe."

"I have a Mendota fireplace that stopped working. I had a Worry Free contract with PSEG, so I called them. They diagnosed the problem to be a defective gas valve ...but was unable to fix it. I then called LNMto take a look at it....which i should have done in the first place. THey installed mu=y fireplace about 15 years ago!. Maintenance call was scheduled and John, who is an owner AND does maintenance/repairs , did the work. He was thoroughly familiar with MENDOTA fireplaces. He did a full check of the fireplace and determined that the problem was the thermocouple. ..the gas valve did not need to be replaced. Since he was here, he suggested to also change the thermopile. He had both parts in his truck. John also rechecked my wireless controller and made sure code was working fine. John was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional, and the pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend them"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
