Because of the growing demand, this new division of UCC is being formed, to more accurately meet the needs of our clientele. Aaron Utter, owner of UCC, is a third-generation stone and brick mason. He learned masonry under the guidance of his father, Loyall Utter, who learned from Aaron's grandfather, J. L. Vandergriff. Honesty and integrity are the foundation of UCC and Tecton Stoneworks. Our utmost desire is to earn your trust and develop a business relationship that will last for years to come. We have an ever-growing list of satisfied clients and references, available upon request. It's safe to say we always show up to our appointments and the everyday work. Consistent, reliable, meticulous both in service and quality craftsmanship. Veteran owned & operated. If you are looking for the cheapest, aka low quality, contractor, I’m sure we are not it. We focus on high quality workmanship.
"First of all, I must apologize to Carl, for the lateness of this review. The job was actually completed back in August 2021. I was introduced to Carl, by another friend. I have a custom water feature in my dining area/kitchen. Essentially a bubble wall. Carl was very punctual, and professional to work with on this project. I know I won't have to be concerned about maintaining my water feature now. Carl, was meticulous in his drawing out the plans, and the best and SAFEST way to accomplish our goal. The project overall took about 3 weeks. I was on an extended time off, so time wasn't too much of a factor for me. We communicated regularly, when I had concerns, Carl would respond in a fairly quick manner. To finish the project on time, Carl came on a Saturday, worked from about 11:00 to 6:00pm that evening. I was most impressed with his due diligence, and quality of work. When it was all said and done, I had a new platform and support for my bubble wall feature. This has made it so easy and SAFE to do maintenance on my water feature. I used to dread having to work on my water feature, as it was a royal PIA to get to when servicing. Very pleased with my results. I still have some final touches to do on the water project, but that is not under Carl's purvey. One day I got a pleasant surprise as well. I had been working to figure out what mural I want to cover the wall section. One day I received a text from Carl. He had meticulously drawn out the dimensions to give to the mural folks, to custom design my mural. This was a few months after the project was completed! I don't have the mural done yet. With my flight schedule, difficult to fit it in right now. I was very happy with my project completion. I would certainly use Carl and Company for any further work needed. Thank You Carl."

"When I started my project I really wasn’t sure what I wanted except the old shower and bathtub gone and replaced with a walk-in shower and cabinet where the old shower was. Talking with Dan he started asking questions and suggested options. He was right on with what I wanted and didn’t realize. Took popcorn off ceiling, removed wallpaper, retextured walls, replaced old cabinets, tiled floor. He talked with me throughout the project on any problems that arose and answered questions I had as he proceeded through the project. They were very professional and cleaned up after each days work. I would recommend him and use him again in the future."
