After erecting a bird feeder, I became hooked on bird watching and knew it was time to redo my front bed to attract more birds, butterlifes and bees. So I turned to Master Gardner, horticulturist and arborist, Dan Fendley of Plant it Forward LLC. I hit the jack pot. His knowledge of plants native to our area that would be perfect for attracting nautre all year-round is astounding. Not only will these pollinators atrract all sorts of wildfile, but they will also provide color in the garden throughout all the seasons. And, his design, is so beautiful. Workign with Dan Fendley is a dream come our. His work is the envy of all my neighbors."

"Terrible work and used my wood"

"When they estimated job my concern was paving on top of walkway and was told that it would not be a problem. After only 6 months I had pavers coming loose as well as the fill used between pavers is non-existent now. Very poor job and would never use or recommend them to anyone. I did contact company 6 months later to fix problems starting but got no follow up to fix problem."

"Two others came and gave me an estimate for exactly what I asked for. Then Mr. White showed up. He shook his head and said "that's not really what you want." His plan was quite different and turned out to be EXACTLY what I wanted! I think his years of experience allows him to visualize what needs to happen. I wanted a ramp so I could age-in-place. I got my ramp but also a fully functional carport that was previously unusable. The ramp is subtle and blends with the surroundings. Curtis White wasn't the lowest estimate it was worth every penny. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Mr. White is fair, honest and does what he says he is going to do when he says he will do it. His crew is professional and hard working. He really knows this stuff! "

"The whole team, from Bert the designer and team supervisor, to the landscapers and the masons were great. All were efficient, professional and easy to deal with. Although there were weather delays and supply chain issues, Bert kept us up to date on plans and ensured the work progressed and was executed well. We have high standards and Heinz met or exceeded all of our expectations. We're very happy with their work and will use them again."

"BUYER BEWARE!!! We have had a terrible experience with Southern Flooring, from almost the beginning. I wanted wood floors throughout the entire house and new tile in the bathrooms. We had to move out for a week so they could install the floor; I was told we could move back in on a Sunday. When my husband got back to move the furniture back in from the garage, he discovered that they hadn’t reinstalled our toilets, which he had to do since Southern Flooring was closed. They also hadn’t completed the flooring job, so I had to leave (with a 2 year old and a 2 week old infant) for a few days so they could complete. Before I had even paid the second half of the invoice, I found a long crack in one of the boards. Shawn sent his flooring installer who removed it and replaced it. Within days, another board split. The floors have continued to deteriorate over the year. After months of emailing and calling Shawn, he brought in a floor inspector, and according to his report the floor was a “manufacturing defect”. Months and months later, after emailing and finally submitting a claim with the Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Shawn gave me the phone number of the distributor and told me to fabricate a lawyer: “I’d inform him you have an attorney and you are waiting to see how this final push works out.”. I eventually spoke with the manufacturer (Somerset Flooring) and was told that there had never been a valid installation report, and that all of the damage that I detailed was due to moisture and directed me back to Southern Flooring. I was also told that they had credited Southern Flooring in order to repair boards; Southern Flooring has never shared this with me. Southern Flooring is now refusing to do anything further for us, and here we are. Boards deteriorating all over the house and the company that I purchased the floor from refuses to help. I have recently retained legal services to help me with this – it is shocking that a company refuses to make this right."
