"We contacted Stephen (who replied almost immediately to my voice mail) about removing several appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, computer monitor) as well as a couple of old doors and some concrete blocks.We had a tight time frame, because we were getting some new appliances the following week, but we wanted to be without the fridge for as little time as possible.  Stephen came out the same evening to give us a quote.  He was very nice to work with.  We were originally going to have the fridge brought downstairs to our laundry room to be a second fridge, and Stephen was willing to move it for us.  But he noticed that the doorway to the laundry room seemed small, and when we checked we found he was right - the fridge would not have fit!  So we asked him to just take it away.  We made an appointment for the following Tuesday afternoon at 1:00.  I had to change the time at the last minute due to another contractor (who was supposed to cap off the gas connection to the dryer) not showing up, but Stephen was completely flexible - he said he would come out the next morning.  He showed up exactly when he said he would, and it took him very little time to get everything on his truck.  He was quick, and left no mess.  We were very happy, and would gladly use him again."

"It was an excellent experience start to finish. Louie, Andrew, Lourdes, and the whole family were a pleasure to work with. They are true professionals who take pride in their work. They do things the right way and don't take any shortcuts. They were meticulous in their planning and explained everything along the way. There were several unexpected obstacles that came up and Louie and Andrew were able to resolve them and still finish the project two weeks ahead of schedule. Louie was always reachable and always on time, and did a fantastic job of communicating throughout the entire project. I would highly recommend Ranieri Construction to anyone looking to re-do their pool patio. They are pool experts and caught alot of things other concrete contractors wouldn't have. "I had an experience with Neponset Valley Construction.  They did work about three years ago.  I would tell others that they're more for exterior jobs than they are interior jobs, the work is kind of shoddy.  The price was the reason we went with them. "

"Scheduling went well initially, but we got a call the morning of the scheduled work saying the handyman had a family emergency and could not come. I called back a week later to see about rescheduling (they said "we were just about to call you!") - and another handyman came out 12 days after the initially scheduled appointment. In each of the three phone contacts with the company I made it clear that I needed help installing strapping over concrete in order to put up drywall in a closet in the basement and that the handyman would need to bring a hammer-drill in order to do the job. In the last contact prior to the appointment I told the rep that I would also likely be needing help installing a steel rack on the ceiling of the garage. I also made it clear that I had an appointment in the afternoon and we'd need to start at 8:00am sharp. The handyman arrived a little more than a half-hour late, without a hammer drill and with no ladder (just a light-weight step-stool). The messages about needing to bring a hammer-drill and doing work on the garage ceiling were evidently never passed along to him. Thankfully I had ladders and I had also purchased a hammer-drill, just in case.... So we were able to complete that part of the job, with him cutting the strapping with a chop saw and applying liquid nail and me doing most of the drilling and anchoring. The handyman was friendly and helpful, but didn't seem all that skilled. He worked steadily, especially sanding the drywall. The best thing about signing up for this big deal is that it helped me get motivated to tackle of couple of projects that had been hanging over my head. So for that, despite some of the glitches, I am grateful.

"The company raised the concrete but didn't take any precautions to keep debris out of pool. After two days of cleaning we have all cement particles out of the pool, but find it necessary to clean out our pool filter Though the concrete did raise in some spots it is not totally even; water pools in a couple of spots. Be advised that this company only fills in the holes; you have to hire another company to stain the cement to match deck color. Clean up is not high on the priority list.
