Tried oven next day same problem as before. Called and they were out the next day. Diagnostics check revealed control panel was bad. Prepaid for order of new control panel. New panel was received and installed within 5 days with no additional service fees. Oven now works normal."

Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
