They tried to overcharge her by charging for 42 circuit breaker repairs when she only has 28 circuit breakers and installed a reverse osmosis system that doesn't work. They ripped up her floor around her toilets and didn't repair it. When comparing to other companies in town their prices were extremely high and unreasonable - but it was too late to get out of the deposit that was already paid for. They were initially charging thousands of dollars more but after some difficult negotiation and so much push back they were able to come down a little on their prices. I would NOT recommend this company - they will take advantage and add unreasonable costs at any angle and leave you with shoddy repairs."

I hired Lion to do a simple cleaning/certifying of our HVAC units as part of a sale. I was initially quoted $119, and I verified no less than 3 times with the customer service rep that the price would include cleaning and testing. When our tech showed up, he said we were misquoted and the charge for cleaning and testing would be about $450, as it was part of their "maintenance" package. They very reluctantly cut us a "deal" for just over $300. Not only was zero cleaning done, the tech did not perform a single action that could be classified as "maintenance." What we got was a diagnostic and estimate for repairs and replacement. I called to complain twice before someone finally got back to me. I was told that the tech didn't perform the cleaning because it may have damaged the unit, which was clearly a lie because the tech never told me that and actually gave me a quote to perform the AC coil cleaning, $470 (what a deal!). The rep then told me that a simple cleaning was done, but not the deep clean that I was expecting. I asked that my invoice be revised to reflect that, but was quickly blocked. Yes, they actually blocked my number after repeatedly misrepresenting both the price and work. I was shocked. I filed a complaint with the BBB, of which I discovered there are many. Hopefully they do the right thing and just give me a refund, but I won't hold my breath. Again, they are clearly manipulating their reviews on Google. Customers do your research!"

Swamp coolers are quite energy-efficient, using only 15% to 35% of the electricity that traditional central air conditioning units consume. This can lead to significant savings on your energy bills. However, keep in mind that swamp coolers require water to operate and may not cool your home as effectively in extremely hot or humid conditions. Evaporative coolers only work in dry climates because they cool by moistening the air. If the air is already moist, this will have little to no cooling effect. Central AC is a better choice if you live in a humid climate, such as the Midwest, eastern, or western coastal regions.

They’ll then install metal bracing, legs, brackets, the ceiling duct register, ductwork, power, and thermostat wires. Depending on the type of pad your system uses, you will need to change out the pads every one to three years for proper operation. The U.S. Department of Energy states that swamp coolers can cool a single room by five to 15 degrees Fahrenheit.
