"I have one of those typical outdoor yard gates that's constructed of square tube steel and vertical rods, covered with a steel mesh. The bottom of the gate was rusted out because of years of grass-sprinkler watering.  I switched over to desert landscaping some years ago, but the gate kept rusting because of earlier damage. I don't weld. I considered fixing the gate myself with new rods, braces, and screws purchased at a big-box store, but I knew the gate wouldn't look as nice and that things would start rusting in time. The repaired gate looks like new and all the welds were clean and neat. I understand that he  does all kinds of repair and home-improvement work and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if I ever needed some highly-professional work done around the house.
