"Had a home warranty near expiration so wanted to get A/C inspected. They came out and not only inspected but found the heat had not been properly set up since installed a few years back by previous owner. The only other issue they found was a bad relay. Unfortunately that wasn’t covered by the home warranty as still had the manufacturers warranty, but they did it that day. The part was covered by the manufacture warranty, but they would’ve used an inferior part vs. the better one installed. Even after service was complete, their office staff and owner took time to get all the warranty info as well as how to transfer."

He was very interested in giving us the most cost effective yet appropriate system and was very clear in his explanations of the features he deemed necessary. The written estimate was sent promptly, and the installation appointment was set up immediately. Communication throughout was excellent. The efficient and courteous office staff kept us posted every step of the way. There were no changes or delays. Installers arrived promptly and work was completed within the time frame estimated. Before leaving, they made sure we understood how to work the thermostat and were available to answer any questsions throughout the installation process. David also arrived at the beginning and reviewed the procedure and follow up expectations. Greg and John were very neat and clean, not only in the house but outside in the area they needed as work space. The following day, work was rechecked by Charles and appointments for final CO check by city inspector and Progress Energy were set up. This was a very pleasant and thoroughly professional experience in every way, and we are very satisfied."

"Pretty good overall, though there was delay in ordering parts and after installation, they had to return the next day to adjust cables in one of the furnaces which had gone out. All works fine now. The bill came in a bit under the estimate and there was no charge for coming out to make the adjustment. (Their initial call out to assess the situation was reasonable, ~$65 w/ tax.)"

The building manager who coordinated my deck build left the company after just a week. The electrician is wonderful & so is their primary tile subcontractor, but everyone else you need to watch closely. Surface Bella is very expensive and I doubt I got my money's worth, but at least they didn't run out on the job. They also tend to cut corners."
