"My wife and I hired Jesse Summerlin for two related projects â a rebuild/upgrade of an existing deck along with a dedicated platform added for a hot tub. This was a challenging project since the deck is 10 feet off the ground and the platform, being downhill from the deck, ended up being over 20 feet high. The latter was designed by an engineer who provided sealed drawings. Jesse and his team built the platform exactly to spec. Jesse also worked closely with the hot tub installers and electricians to make sure everything was in synch. The deck rebuild had some unforeseen challenges due to past shoddy construction. Jesse found critical defects that others, including two inspectors, had missed. He was able to make repairs to the deck framing that left it rock solid. We replaced the old wooden decking with Timbertech Azek â a composite product I highly recommend. This was the first time Jesse had worked with that so he made sure to contact the manufacturer to ensure he was well educated on the installation requirements. His team had it in without a hitch. Throughout the project, Jesse was professional, communicative, and a joy to work with. We're exceedingly happy with the finished deck and hot tub platform. If we ever have an earthquake or mudslide on our mountain we're evacuating to the deck. The house may collapse down the hill but Jesse's deck isn't going anywhere."

Ken was a great consultant on the design and materials and was extremely flexible, giving us a variety of options and adjusting with our changing desires - even through the estimate/build process. "Working with Brent and Keith on our A-frame build was a great experience overall. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. The craftsmanship really shows—our home is not only beautiful, but also feels incredibly solid and built to last. The quality of materials and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. The only downside was that the project took a couple of months longer than originally predicted. That said, it was absolutely worth the wait. The end result speaks for itself, and we’d much rather have things done right than rushed. We’re extremely happy with our A-frame and grateful to Brent and Keith for bringing it to life."

"This is the second project that Todd has done for us. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. Todd communicates well and is very patient in allowing us to ask questions. He does a good job explaining things in laymanâ s terms, which is important to me as someone with only basic home maintenance skills. His contract is detailed in scope and we were never caught off guard money-wise. In fact, Todd informed us when materials came in at lower than projected cost and passed those savings onto us. He is incredibly considerate in his work; my wife watched a few babies in the house several days a week, and Todd generously asked for appropriate times to do anything that might be loud or disruptive to that end. "Josh was impressive from the very beginning. I needed to repair deck boards from several decks that had failed or discolored due to sun exposure or other issues. It was a bit complicated because the failed boards were along the deck perimeter and required the dismantling of deck railing and other parts. Josh found the sole manufacturer of the boards (in Canada) and located distributers in the US and sorted out the delivery logistics...not a fun task. He called me and we discussed various options and came to an agreement on the cost and timing which I thought was very reasonable. Josh didn't require money up front and I knew he was a man of his word, and he clearly knew how to handle and manage the work. Josh and his team arrived on the agreed date and completed the work in two days. They did an impressive job and made some changes that were improvements over the original installation. They also uncovered a few minor construction issues which they repaired. Josh is top of my call list!"

"I posted an earlier review for front yard landscaping, but Benn also repaired and/or replaced several sections of wooden privacy fence. This included the removal and replacement of posts in concrete and re-leveling and aligning the old and new sections. Again, communication was perfect and the results were as expected. Benn is trustworthy, smart, respectful, and gets job started and completed as promised. Some people over-promise and under-deliver, but Iâ d say Benn does the opposite."
