"We chose JBL, early last October, after getting estimates from five contractors ,and we couldn't be more pleased. Dave (owner), said they wouldn't be able to start until the new year. However, he was able to free up his crew at the end of October to install new flooring in our master bedroom, a few days before we were getting a new bedroom set. The biggest surprise came the first week of November, when Dave told us he could start the master bathroom remodel on December 6th. Once they started that, everything went well. Dave gave us some good suggestions but he was also always open to do anything that we wanted. The best advice he gave us, was to buy good quality bathroom plumbing fixtures for the bathroom, which we did. While it did cost us much more than we intended on spending, it was a smart thing to do, as the quality of the products in the big box stores can't match what we bought. After finishing the bathroom, they started work on a room we wanted in the basement. Again, Dave gave us suggestions, for flooring and lighting, and the room came out great. They also did a nice job in replacing our single front door light with two new lights that we had purchased. After that, we had to wait a few weeks for the egress window to be done, due to supply shipping issues. By the end of February, all was done. One thing that we were extremely happy about, was that Dave came to the house just about every day to see how things were progressing. His crew was also a pleasure to work with. They were on time every morning. They are all very nice, very skilled, and answered any questions we had during the entire process. The outside companies he uses for plumbing, sheetrock and shower glass are all top notch. Electrical work was done by, Mike, one of his own crew, who also does a lot of the carpentry, along with two other men. They left the house clean at the end of the day. What we also liked, is that the only money Dave asked for up front, was the deposit for hiring him and for the egress window, as he had to pay for that to place the order. Other than that, money was only paid after work was already done. Pricewise, JBL was middle of the road when compared to the other estimates we got, so we know we weren't overpaying. We would definitely use JBL again and highly recommend them."

"After an extensive investigation taking into account online feedback/reviews and speaking to other construction firms, I decided on Nunez Construction to fully renovate my entire house consisting of three separate apartments. Efren (the owner) was able to fully understand the work required and also suggested additional modifications; some requiring no additional cost which made quite a difference to the appearance and functionality of the units. This is the 2nd major project I contracted Art DeRosa & Co for.  The 1st being 4 years ago a major living room/family room renovation which was hugely successful.  That 1st experience led me to award Art (after several other competitive quotes) this 2nd and far larger & more complex project.

Overall it went well but this was a complicated project encompassing all the typical trades and expertise of building a new luxury house but far more complicated because it was a renovation performed while we were living in the home. Dust partition walls with wood framing had to be erected in several locations in the house which included temporary doors for entering and egress in certain areas of the remaining living areas of the house in order to protect the remaining house from dust and demolition , as well as, provide privacy for us during construction. 

Experience, Experience, Experience and Professionalism, Professionalism, Professionalism are the hallmarks of Art DeRosa and company.  He is a seasoned performer and pretty much seen it all.  Art has such a vast amount of home construction experience in both hi-end and medium end homes that he can draw upon a wealth of knowledge in all construction disciplines to implement a fine finished result.  As a former tool and die maker his penchant for hi-precision finish work yields highest quality appearances to things like moldings; trim; windows; doors; floors; etc. etc. 

This complex renovation project lasted 7 months which was within the initial time estimate given at the beginning and Art DeRosa and team were here every single day, day in and day out,  bright and early during that time frame. He did not start any other projects and stayed on the job day-in and day-out even when other sub-contractors such as plumbers and electricians were on the job site excluding his people from doing any other work. Art DeRosa and team were here every single day until final signoff.

I would not hesitate to recommend Art DeRosa & Co for any planned New House and/or House Renovation of any kind.
