"I paid for a one hundred dollar roof repair. I know this is cheap but they came out and quoted $1100.00 for some tar around the chimney and tuckpointing . Or $2600.00 for flashing. It seems a bit high. I just bought a new 16x7 garage door with a motor, tracks, and three openers installed for $1000.00. Materials--tar and cement compared to a steel door, motor, tracks and openers. So it would be 1000.00 for labor. Maybe a few hours. I know grinding cement is not easy but we are talking about $200.00 per hour. A little high."

"The bid I received was the same as another company but I choose Arrow based on the informed conversation I had with the estimator (Kathy). She pointed out the problem and offered options in rebuilding the top layers of the chimney, one which was lower in price. She also noted that even though we had not noticed any problems with our other chimney what should be done before we ended up with any damage inside and a more costly repair. The men that did the work were very efficient and prompt each day of the job. They were very thorough in their clean up."
