"4-Ever Watertite waterproofed our home in 2012, exterior and interior.The outside east, west and north walls weredug up manuallydown to the footing. (These sides represent the main part of our house built in 1938; the south side is part ofan extension to the house built in 1965). "Jeff Michrina is the owner of JAM Home Services, managing via subcontracting work in paint, flooring, carpentry, kitchens and bathrooms according to his business card. He was prompt in responding to my request for an in-house assessment and quote. He arrived at his appointed time, was friendly, patient and offered an easily understood explanation of his work background & ethic. As we made a walk-through of the house, Jeff made notes and suggested wall repair specifics, scuff sanding of wooden bannisters, color options and best paint for the job (Sherman-Williams super paint). He explained that the paint job would be done by a 3-4 man crew with one person serving as lead. Unlike other company owners, Jeff did not use a computer. His quote was hand-written. Be prepared to wait more than a day or two to obtain a written quote. An additional 4% surcharge is added for credit card only payments as well, according to the written material. On the appointed day, four crew members arrived a bit early, and seemed to huddle before knocking on the front door. It was pretty clear that all four had bonded over the course of working together. We then met Fred (lead) who did the ceiling work, caulking and repairs; Will whose precision in cutting closely around light fixtures and edging was highly valued; David who concentrated on the doors, and wood working; and Matt who was new so painted the garage and basement drywall. When one completed his job, he went on to help another. Each member of the crew was polite, kind and seemed to enjoy working in the group. They worked tirelessly, taking only a 30 minute afternoon lunch. All heavy furniture was moved by them and then replaced. At the end of each day, surfaces were wiped down, floors swept and the areas were cleaned up. Used materials where either returned to the work truck, or bagged and placed neatly in an area for trash pick up. At the end of each day, the lead Fred and I did a walk through inspection of the day's work. Jeff also stopped by each day to talk to the lead, the crew and inspect the job. The entire job was completed in less than half the time that was originally estimated!"

"Fantastic. Scheduling was easy and friendly. It wasn't an emergency situation so Tammy got me on the schedule for a day and. half after I called. Chris showed up in the first half of the 4 hour time window I was given. Once again, friendly and professional service. Tested water flow to confirm the issue, then snaked out the drains and had me run multiple wash cycles tub draining to ensure no issues."

"My repair went really well. I started out with the garbage disposal malfunctioning and while running the dishwasher I discovered that the dishwasher was leaking also. To top it off I found that my pipe under the sink had burst and water was everywhere, even leaking through the ceiling below!!! Michael came to my home to look at the job and advised me that he'd come to do my repair the next day. I was surprised to find that the repair he did with the pipes under my kitchen sink actually gave me more space for under sink storage!! He was friendly and professional. I was very pleased with his work. I'd definitely call on him again.

"Rob and his crew were excellent. We were referred to Rob from some friends of ours. We hired him because we had seen his work from our friend's kitchen so we felt comfortable with the quality of the work. We hired Rob to fully remodel 2 bathrooms in a home we recently purchased. The bathrooms were extremely outdated so both of them were gut jobs down to the sub-floor and framing. 1st Bathroom: Complete removal of everything existing. New electrical was done to re-position lights. A new bathtub and surround was installed. A new toilet was installed, as well as new vanity along with new floor tile, drywall, and painting. All fixtures and mirrors were replaced as well. 2nd Bathroom: Complete removal of everything existing. New tiled shower surround, new toile, and new vanity were installed. All drywall was replaced and painting was done. All fixtures and mirrors were replaced as well. My favorite part about Rob is his attention to detail and interest in the quality of his work. If a paint line wasn't straight enough the first time, he would re-do it. He even used a small paint brush for models to touch up one area to get it just right! We has recently had all our floors refinished, and Rob took the time to cut and install RamBoard on all flooring to make sure there was no damage. When there were surprises that came up (as there is with ANY job like this) Rob didn't get dramatic and act like it was the end of the world, he would get the part and fix it and explain to us what needed to be done. I really appreciated his professionalism and quality work. We will definitely use Rob again when we do future remodel jobs."
