The sunroom and the expanded patio look beautiful. The quality of the materials is great, and they were able to install the lighting fixtures we purchased. Out of many contractors I called to get an estimate, he was the only one willing to provide options to have the project fit our budget. Once we agreed to move forward, he worked diligently with the architect and village to get the permits finalized (which is a difficult task in my town). Once the work started, he provided almost daily updates of the work that will be completed and any anticipated inspections (which we passed easily). "They were supposed to give a quote for the sunroom and there was a delay in getting the block windows. They did five block windows and two regular windows. Their getting back to me was not timely. I will use them next year, I just don't like the fact that they didn't get back to e about the sunroom, I don't know if they're stretched."

"We signed the contract to have a three season sunroom added to our house in April, then waited 3 months for the city to approve permits.  They started building the room in July, and it was finished in September,  There were only minor problems, and they fixed all of them at the end.  The only frustration I had was that I would have likaed more communication about when people were or weren't going to show up to work.  Overall, we are very happy with the room, and I would recommend this builder."

"The quality of the job is average. Our contract was to fix issues in order to meet the code for inspection. The electrician either cuts comers or does not understand building code that results in 2 failures on inspection and it has to re-do multiple times. I have to pay for each re-inspection.

"Our condo building was having roof leaks and Steve Case came out in Dec 2017 and gave us an estimate for a silcone roof. I was also getting quotes from 2 other companies. Due to the extremely cold weather and personal (on my part) scheduling conflicts, SPU did the work in mid-May. The guys (especially Greg) were very professional and punctual. Steve was very accommodating the whole time. The roof looks great and the price was affordable. I definitely recommend SPU!"

"I am a small time real estate investor and have hired many tradesmen throughout the years. Only three times in my life have I been 100% satisfied with a job. Two of those three times were when I hired Nyberg exteriors. (The other was when I hired a friend of mine to rewire a building) Nybery put a new roof on my English tudor home in Prospect Heights many years ago. "First of all, let me start by saying that this was the first time that I have done a remodel.  When I made the big decisions about cabinets and floors, I was doing it from photos that I took.  So, when I signed the contract and John was ready to place orders, I had a moment of panic.  Do the cabinets REALLY go with the floors that I picked?  Did I just make a HUGE mistake in my choices.  Well, John was able to get me a cabinet sample pretty quickly so I could go back to the flooring store just to be sure that I was making the right choice.  He offered me a bit of advice during the process "Go with your first instinct."  He was right.  I went with all of my first choices and my place looks amazing.
I live in a high rise.  Anyone who lives in a high rise knows that there are rules about construction, scheduling elevators, and what can and cannot be done.  John was great in working with my building and not forcing me to deal with that headache.
