He provided a contract with a statement of work accurately describing what was to be done and signed by both of us. Three or four issues came up during the project, at least two of them were my fault, but he accommodated my needs and didn't charge more. The driveway and walkway look great."

Dave was an easygoing point of contact who listened to our concerns and gave some good advice. He met with me a couple of times to talk through the scope and then led the team doing the installation. "They almost finished but I made the mistake of paying when they were almost done. They didn't show up to remove the last of the plywood forms for the retaining wall. I called at least 4 times and requested that Nelson, the owner of the Co. to send someone to complete the job. He told me 4 times ok and gave me a day when they would come to do that. All 4 times no one showed up. And no one called to say they wouldn't be there. I feel that Nelson was playing with me but do not understand why? I paid in full. $12,000 + tax. Also, he requested I make the check out to his name. I don't know if that is legal to do or not. But I did it."
