"5 Stars – Exceptional Craftsmanship and Service from Ray Long at L&L Construction I can’t say enough good things about Ray Long and L&L Construction. Ray recently completed a 20'x12' deck off the back of our house, and the entire experience—from initial planning to final screw—was outstanding. He recommended Azek decking, and we’re so glad we followed his advice. The materials are beautiful, durable, and perfect for our space. The finished deck includes a full wrap around smooth top railing, 3-foot stairs off the side, and 5-foot stairs off the front. Ray also removed a large window facing the new deck and installed 48" french doors that open onto the deck. He carefully redid the surrounding siding and adeptly handled dry rot and structural issues from an unlevel, unplumb house with skill and expertise. What really stood out was Ray’s high attention to detail and how it felt like he was building the deck as if it were his own home. Every part of the project was done with care, precision, and pride. Ray was also extremely patient as we went through multiple redesigns to try to stay within budget without compromising quality or our vision. He offered honest recommendations and never pushed unnecessary extras—just smart solutions from years of experience. "Rafael called immediately once I asked for a bid through Angi, he and Sara arrived early for the bid appointment, they anticipated all of my questions and concerns, and gave me a bid and timeline at that time. His team had the old deck out and new deck built in two days, all done the right way, and cleanup was perfect. "My first time working with Near Me Roofing Company and his team but it will not be the last. I have several rental homes and price but more importantly quality work is very important for my investments. From my first interaction the team did a great job estimating and replacing a roof that had major storm damage from a tree falling on it. They replaced the entire roof materials as well as repaired a bunch of the roof decking. "Amado and his team of very capable and highly skilled folks did an awesome job transforming my backyard into a living area that we look forward to each day. We did an interior and exterior remodel of our home and our experience was quite a contrast. While we had terrible experience with our interior contractor (PM me if you need more about it) and i was quite skeptical about engaging any other contractors, Amado came across as pleasant - always transparent with the recommendations on design and the pricing and more importantly a stickler to the commitment on the quality of the workmanship and the deadlines. "Fast workers - not as detail-oriented as we needed for our hardwood floors and kitchen trim We hired Northwest Builders & Renovation to demolish a wall between two rooms, paint our LR, DR, kitchen, and a hallway. We also had them patch a section of wet lath & plaster, replace some baseboards, and hang a chandelier. (About $15k) They finished the majority of the work in 4 days - very fast! They were much less expensive, too, and we learned why later. They wanted to use laminate to finish (as the contract said) our hardwood floor patch from where the wall was. We have almost 100-year-old oak hardwood floors. When they said labor and materials are include in the bid, we should have asked which materials they planned to use. To finish a hardwood floor to them meant using laminate or engineered hardwood flooring, not real wood for hardwood flooring, AND to patch it in (leaving a line), not to weave it in as we wanted to blend it. Read between the lines to know the bid."
