"Freedom Heating & Cooling has been servicing my house and 3 rental properties for the past few years. This time, I had a technician come to check on the furnace in my new rental property as my tenant was receiving high electriity bills. The technician was great. He looked very comfortable working with the electric furnace and was extremely patient while he investigated the possible causes. I enjoyed working with him tremendously. However, my tenant just now received an extremely high electricity bill again, and I contacted the office, not to complain at all, but to have the furnace serviced again. The lady who answered my call (I usually talk with Mike - he's also great!) was so nice and patient while I explained all detailes and to my surprise, she offered to send a technician again ASAP for free. I was fully ready to pay for this service call and did not expect they to offer that level of customer service. I've always been satisfied with them, but now I know why they have been awarded Angie's List SUPER SERVICE AWARD. I paid $479 for the previous service call (over 2 hrs and a new thermostat installation). My return appointment is tomorrow morning. "The three installers, Mirek, Mike, and Jonathan arrived promptly for the all-day job. All three were very professional. They came with their own dollies to bring the equipment to my unit, provided drop cloths to protect the flooring in my unit and in the building corridors, and answered questions about the equipment to my satisfaction. Will, the Shavitz Heating and AC Specialist who advised me on the equipment options, also stopped by to check on the installation. When the work was completed, the installers went through a checklist to make sure the installation was completed properly and the fan coil was operating correctly. They also showed me how to replace the filter and how to program the thermostat. Will also contacted me to see if I was satisfied and offered to stop by and program the thermostat."

"Wonderful Well groomed you man arrived on time to install the Aprilaire humidifier. Pleasant fellow to chat with about his work while installing the humidifier. Did not like being subjected to upsell for service contract, but that is not figured into the questions responded to above."

"Home Comfort Systems did a fantastic job with the replacement of my furnace (and my A/C five years ago). Steve is a highly reputable person and explains things easily for people not in the Heating & A/C industry. He is very straight-forward with his quote and doesn't try to pressure or scare you into purchasing something you do not need. Their 10-year labor warranty is also very impressive, and they stand behind their work. A couple of weeks prior, they were able to take a look at my old furnace right away despite having tons of calls due to the first cold snap of the year. The furnace install only took about three hours and was smooth as can be. The installer took great care in making sure floors were protected when hauling equipment in and out of the house. He also made sure to repair some ductwork that extended off the furnace. My suggestion is to make sure you call Home Comfort Systems if you need service or replacement of your furnace and/or air conditioning."

Phoenix gave us the lowest quote (16k less than the highest quote!) and also had the best customer service. Everything was explained to us before, during, and after the installation. They literally came THE NEXT DAY and did the entire install - remove old unit, rework the ducting, install an air cleaner, dress the wiring - all in one day! The job was done with expert quality - no loose wires or hoses lying around, everything square - and they even came back a few days later to make sure the sump pump and humidifier wire working correctly. finally, they called me a week after that, to make sure I got the Peoples Gas rebate paperwork together! "Jon was very responsive! He arrived within 24 hours from when I called and I had the quote for the work later that day. He was able to get me scheduled within a few days to get the work done and the work was done very well! There was an issue with some of the old wiring in my house that came up during the installation which caused the fuse to blow when the A/C/Heat turned on and he took the time (2-3 hours) to replace the wire to ensure the A/C worked without issues in the future."
