"This was a huge job, because so much, so many parts had to be replaced, by working in such tight attic work spaces in the heat! The "install crew" was diligent and thorough, and stayed until they were completely done, and all parts were up and functioning. After cleaning up all the de-struction and con-struction debris from the front lawn...…..they left my house at 1:30 am!!! Thank you John Moore, for employing such skilled and diligent people!!! The mobile AC unit for homeowners, is a wonderful benefit, for those persons this crisis strikes during the heat of the year!!! It makes this project do-able.....any time of the year."

"My AC stopped blowing cold on a Saturday night during a heat wave in Houston. I called Bellaire AC Sunday morning, and Charles came out the same day. He obviously had a lot of calls that day because he arrived around 8:00 p.m. I don't know that most AC technicians would be willing to continue working that late. If he hadn't come I would have checked into a hotel because it was over 85° in my condo at that point. It turned out the condenser fan had stopped working because of a bad capacitor. Charles replaced the capacitor and put in about 3 lb of coolant. Charles is very knowledgeable. As he was working he explained the technical details of how the system works and what he was doing. I will call Bellaire Air Conditioning again the next time I need them, but hopefully that won't be for a long time."

"They arrived on time, and we're polite. Everything checked out okay. I inquired about our guest room being significantly hotter than the other rooms. They quoted $400 to expand the airway going to that room since it was furthest away from the unit. I'm not sure how that compares to other companies, but we felt was quite expensive. We did not elect for that additional service."

The HVAC configuration in the attic was either original equipment, poorly patched work, or equipment that was not compatible with the new air conditioner. I had gotten in-person estimates from 3 other companies and here's what made me go with South Belt: Matthew understood that my wife and I had a tight budget, so he clearly provided us with what COULD be replaced and what NEEDED to be replaced. "It was a three day job. 

They had to come back because the evaporator coil in the attic was defective from the factory. They didn't catch and I didn't neither when they first installed but it showed after a month. They came back out took out the old one and put in a new one and its worked ever since.

If you have to have heating and air work I certainly look at them. We've used them for inspections for quite a number of years but this was a major replacement and they did that well."

"Electrician couldn't figure out why the circuit wasn't working either and wanted to use an extra circuit that my husband had dedicated to run out to the bayou behind our house. Electrician wanted us to gift him our son's Jeep in order to complete the work, even though I had already paid $237 up front. The work that needed to be done was not worth the price of the Jeep, and the Jeep did not belong to us. It belonged to our son. My husband decided to do the work himself, even though he is disabled, rather than pay this guy a fortune to do it. And there was no review of our electrical system performed as far as I can tell."
