"Please see the earlier review (3/12) for context. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mt. Valley Foundation Services regarding our sump pump installation. Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!"

"I came home from work at 4pm and noticed the house was warm. Day was 90 + degrees. I checked the unit outside and the fan wasn't turning. I called LimRic at 4:10 and a service man was at my house at 4:50. He checked the unit and under the house noticed that there was a foot and a half of standing water, which submerged the condensate pump, causing the unit to shut off. He then checked the sump pump we had for water drainage and it wasn't working. He attempted to get it started, but to no avail. We talked and he suggested we get the plumbing division to come out and pump the water out before he could replace the condensate pump, as he was sure it was toast. He was unable to get the plumbing service man until 10pm, so I said we could wait until the morning. He offered a window unit to help with the heat that evening, but I had one in the garage. The plumber came in the am and got the sump pump going and said the AC guy would be back in a few hours after the water was pumped out. When AC guy came, there was still water as the sump pump failed again. I decided to haven him take the condensate pump out so the unit could be started and we would replace the condensate and sump pumps later. There guys were the nicest and most professional service men I've ever had. They really wanted to get the unit started as soon as possible. I can't believe I only spent $150 and had 3 different service guys spend approximately 4 hours of service. Will definitely use them in the future.

"Greg was incredibly responsive to our initial request & all of our questions. Prior reviews of his work on Angie's List + direct conversations with recent customers provided outstanding references, so going with Crawl Space Doctor was an easy decision. Greg provided the most complete approach to solving our moisture and fungus problem. His approach toward a sump pump over a dehumidifier was counter to the recommendations from 2 other bidders but research on my part indicated he was correct in not taking the typical (yet unnecessary) approach.
Greg kept us informed of the project schedule every day, he checked in on his crew regularly, and we can't say enough good things about the work that his crew did on our formerly gross and unhealthy crawl space. They were prompt, neat, amazingly quiet for the amount of remediation they did and cleaned up the work site each day and upon departure. Our crawl space is clean enough to eat dinner down there and now suitable for storing some things I would never consider placing in our attic because of the intense heat up there in the summer months.

"Went well to this point of replacing parts. Then the United needed to have a system leak test and then needed freon put in pump. This was refused by Choice warranty. We were left with a partial repair and a heat pump not able to do it's job."

"They have been out for the electrical. They have been out for the pool. They have been out for the sump pump. Its the fee for the service call. We have used them for the last 3 years. If you have an appliance that you think needs replaced they will not replace it they will repair it to death. They are very responsive. Some of the people they send out are great, some are okay."
