Even when confronted with some unexpected issues (items that were not obvious until we begin the demo) midstream, they gave me complete Information so that I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. Their work is excellent, they are reliable and easy to communicate with, they are proud of what they do and want you to be happy with the results. My project included general construction, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical assessment. I highly recommend Powerhouse and will continue to use them for my general contracting needs. "Mark was simply outstanding!  I first called him from work and that night he emailed to my wife and me, a list of what documents were needed and instructions on how to proceed.  He provided several refinancing options in detail relevant to our situation.  Never did he pressure us in what we should do, but rather guided us in making a decision that would be satisfactory to us, the customer.  He was always available when we had questions or needed advice and always kept us up-to-date with the refinancing process.  He was always up front with us and there were no hidden costs or surprises at settlement, which he had arranged at our home at our convenience.  At settlement, the gentleman explained the purpose of all the documents that we signed and was more than willing to answer any questions that we needed answered.  I would highly recommend Mark to anyone who is looking to refinance a mortgage.

"We had a shed pad installed for our new shed. Bob really worked to make sure we understood the different types of pads we could get as well as the ground leveling process. He was the only contractor we talked to that put the pad in the ground (excavating some dirt) so that it didn't just sit on top. As an added bonus, he swiped away a patch of really thick ivy that we've been struggling with. When scheduling the pad, he did delay the installation due to weather issues, showing real concern that if we didn't delay at least a day, the installation would be less than the professional level he likes to leave with. I left for the morning to go to work and when I came home, the pad was ready for a shed.
Bob shows a concern for his homeowner's well being in all matters and is very knowledgable. I fully recomend him to anyone seeking a similar install, and will consider Rock-a-fella's when ever I have a gravelly/patio/deck need in the future.

"Everything went well. Gary and his crew were great! They all treated me with respect and worked very hard. We're extremely happy with the deck. There are a few rough spots that I would've liked to get fixed, but what was done had to be done I guess. The only real problem I had, was the owner. I messaged him to see if the cosmetic repairs could be fixed. He bypassed everything I told him and made an excuse for the decks cosmetics. And questioned why I was calling 2 weeks later and complaining. Well we don't sit there 24/7. And of course sitting there, you notice little things that are imperfect. Yes, I did agree when I t was completed, to do an inspection myself, but again, you notice more, when you are actually sitting there. He did however, agree to fix what was wrong. However, I never received a warranty nor a written guarantee, for a $16,000 deck. If we need construction again, I would recommend asking for Gary and his crew, to do the job!! !"

"Contrary to other reviews I have seen on this page, I hired McNeely Construction, to put a roof on our home. My understanding is McNeely did use GAF 50 Year Shingles. Mike personally seen this job through. Phone Calls, emails and even stopped by our house when they finished the job (it took 1 Work Day for McNeely to do this job). I inspected the premises when I got home from work. I did not find any loose shingles or loose nails on the ground anywhere. The roof was over and above what I expected and he reflashed our addition where the previous roofer screwed up. The clean up was unbelievable. As such, Mike was paid in full without incident. Normally, roofers request a deposit, payment and final payment when the job is over. I used to work for a roofing company and understand people do not like to make the last payment beacuse each payment is split into 1/3. If nobody makes the last payment they cannot expect for any roofer to be eager to fix or warranty any issues that routinely develop with a fresh install or develop over time. Overall, I am very pleased with the expedited work and the roof itself. I would highly recommend on promptness and price."
