Peter outlined all of my options for replacement heaters including reimbursements from MassSave and addressed the concerns I had about some of the options. "We've had a lot of renovation work done on our house over the last several years, and Superior Kitchens And Baths was the best company that we've worked with overall. Jane, Brandon, and their entire crew and subcontractors were all great to work with. They were very responsive, hard working, professional, stuck closely to their schedules, and did high quality work across the board. Additionally, Jane, Brandon, and Dustin are genuinely nice people that were great to get to know and interact with throughout the effort. From the start, Jane and Brandon came up with creative solutions to allow us to get everything we wanted in the renovation, and figured out potential pitfalls and workarounds before the work even started. "These guys are the greatest! They saved us a lot of money! We had a dumpster before the bullbag and for 3 tons of material and a week rental of the dumpster it cost us $486! We own the bullbag now, had a full bag - 3.5 tons - picked up and it was only $229! We didn't have any rental charges, excess weight fees, or anything! These guys did everything they said they would! This was about as seamless a kitchen renovation that one could ever hope for.  Dave listened carefully to the goals we wanted to achieve in our kitchen, and was patient with the design adjustments we wanted to incorporate as we considered each version of the design plans.  One cabinet in particular that was added toward the end of the design process was brilliantly conceived on his part--a cabinet to store large items that looked like a lovely piece of dining room furniture, with exterior shelving and drawers. It is a centerpiece in the kitchen.  Dave was careful to preserve important walk ways in our kitchen so as to not create bottlenecks--an important element in this centrally located kitchen.  His advice on style and color of cabinetry was also highly valued in our desire to achieve a cleaner and brighter look, yet one that was still consistent with our 1931 Colonial.

The Brookhaven cabinets are beautiful and well-made.  While they are pricey, Dave was able to steer us to take advantage of a manufacturer's discount.  The selection of hardware that was available without incurring additional cost was completely adequate, and we took advantage of this option.

Installation of the cabinetry was smooth and timely.  We decided to make a last minute change to the placement of our microwave, which necessitated the order of a new drawer.  This took longer than we had hoped, but understood that this was not a Kitchen Center issue, but rather one of the manufacturer, as each items is custom made.  When the drawer arrived, it was without a front--this added more time. 

Once the cabinetry was installed, irregularities were minimal.  Dave and a service that works with him tended to adjusting hinges, covering screw heads, and painting areas that needed to be smoothed. 

Overall, working with the Kitchen Center exceeded our expectations.  Communication and responsiveness were excellent.  They partnered well with our contractor so that there were no glitches or last minute surprises--almost unheard of for a kitchen renovation.  The quality of the design and workmanship has made for a space that we are loving, and our only regret was that we did no redo our kitchen sooner!

"This is a reliable family owned painting company. They are very good at communicating with their clients. They are also punctual. Really appreciate the kind demeanor of each of the workers including the owners. They did a great job preparing the space for painting. I was impressed by the level of attention to detail given to painting each cabinet. The day the cabinet doors were being put back up Priscila came by to make sure everything was well done and in good order. I appreciate her keen attention to detail as she noticed a couple of the doors needed an additional coat of paint to fully match the rest. I am so grateful she caught that. I would've noticed eventually and would've been disappointed. She has her clients' best interest at hand for sure. I highly recommend Flash Painters for your painting needs. Some tips for your cabinet painting project: 1. Empty out the cabinets completely. It's easier for the painter to really get in there to cover the inside of the cabinet. Also, even though they do a great job covering, the over spray just has a way of getting everywhere. If you don't want your glass vases to end up with white specs of paint on them make sure you take them out of the cabinet before it gets painted. 2. Cover your stove top with plastic. Again, the over spray gets in between the layers of paper. 3. If you get a chance wipe the surfaces immediately after the paint has been completed. As long as the paint is fresh it will come off but once it's dry it's there forever. We didn't have any major issues with this because I got ahead of it."

"We also took the opportunity to upgrade the kitchen lighting and back splash. Ivaldo and his son, Angelo (who did the work) did a great job pricing the job and even had an electrician they worked with do the lighting installation. Very nice and professional people and we would most certainly call on them again for other jobs we have planned at our house. It's comforting to know that there are still honest service people out there!
