"Michael was very easy to work with and fully transparent on every step of the way. His output is very high quality and he restored our basement to fantastic condition. I appreciated the care he took on our project and the additional input he gave to offer suggestions on overall improvements to the space. If you hire him for a job then you're in great hands; Would hire again!"

"Facia installed looked better than the original install, it was straight and not one bit uneven, Shingles install was the best install I’ve seen, every corner and angle was put together perfect. I have had 3 storm damage roof repairs in 10 years and used a different contractor on each. I wish I would have found EZ Home on the first two installs."

"Complete Renovations remodeled our two upstairs bathrooms. Jon was exceptionally easy to work with. He is patient and detail oriented, open to suggestions while never hesitating to offer suggestions of his own. He managed a terrific team of subcontractors, scheduling them in a timely manner so the work progressed smoothly and keeping us informed of who would be on site when. Jon was present regularly to keep an eye on things and handle any problems that arose. The result was two new bathrooms with all the changes and additions desired: lovely natural stone tile work in the showers and around the vanities, beautiful custom-made vanity cabinets and linen storage, wall heaters and new lighting, a soaking tub, and toilets converted from wall-hung to floor mounts. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished project and would definitely work with Jon again."

"Johnny was great to work with. I initially messaged him through Angie's List and he called me back the same day, and it was even his birthday! My husband and I needed 2 items repaired in our home, which is currently on the market. The relocation company required a very specific, detailed estimate and Johnny was able to comply. He was out within a few days and fixed a window sill that had an over paint issue and a jammed garbage disposal. He even noticed that our front door handle wasn't working properly and tried to fix that, but it turns the internal mechanism was broken and we needed to order a new one. I highly recommend Johnny for any handyman work you need done. And if you get his voicemail, listen to the entire message!"

"My mailbox fell apart and could not be repaired. It needed a new post and everything. This occurred the first week of December and although the ground was not yet frozen, I was concerned that it could soon become frozen.  This is Wisconsin, after all. I called all the highly rated handyman providers, and they all were booked for at least two weeks and some were busy through January or February. I decided to take a chance on Property Image, even though they had only a few reviews. The entire process went really well. They could not set up an available date for three days or so, but they communicated with me so I knew they were coming. I also could not be there during the work, which was not a problem for them. They offered to buy a new mailbox for me, but I wanted to choose one myself. I bought one (they purchased a post), and left it on my front porch in the morning. I came home that evening and it was installed perfectly, just the right distance from the street, level and sturdy in the ground. The landscaping around the post looked like it was barely touched. They billed me about a week later. It all worked out and I love my new mailbox <br />"

"The guys were great very friendly and respectful of our home, we had a really hard time finding some one to help us do that job since it was such a small space but bill gave us a call right away and said he doesn't mind doing the small jobs at all and gave us a very fair price $850 for 286 SQ ft and they sealed all the spaces leaking air. now the house is a nice warm temperature ,the cold spots are gone, and and the heating bill has come down. great job would definitely hire them again in a heart beat."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Hudson, WI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
