"I first utilized Chapman-Lockwood in September 2018 for a complete home remodel for a new client. As a recognized interior designer, I expect a renovation to be done on a schedule, for the job site be kept tidy at all times and for the crews to be trustworthy & sensitive to the client’s environment - especially when the clients are living in their home during the construction. Cameron and his team did all of this and more. The house has been transformed & updated and the clients are thrilled with the outcome! Chapman-Lockwood checked all the requests on our sheet - which is rarely done without a punch list. I have since utilized Cameron and his crews for electrical and other miscellaneous work for a long-time client and most recently on a very tight deadline project which required painting the interior of a home in which the home owners were moving into from their home in Maryland in just 7 days. He promised it would be done, with no corners cut, along with extensive sheet rock repairs and two coats of paint (plus hanging new lighting and installing new hardware) for a 3600 square foot home. Chapman-Lockwood delivered again and another very happy client was the result. We just commenced work on our 4th project together which is another complete home remodel in the Galleria area. Cameron provided a prompt & detailed estimate which addressed all of the client’s concerns & requirements. Cameron added creative and cost-effective ideas which will be utilized for this project. "I just finished paying for it. There was an additional fee charged. As far as communication, they stunk, as far as scheduling, they weren't very good, as far as the work, the work was good. The price was good. The original agreement, it was a special, was $1250. I asked them to do a couple of additional things and charge me $300 more. The total was $1550. They were unresponsive and didn't show up when they were supposed to, up to and including the repair work. They needed to communicate better. Only when I got Angie's List involved was the communication improved. I believe this was further out than they had originally planned on covering. So their coverage area was too far for them to drive and I don't think they were too thrilled about the type of work, but once they did, the work was okay. Once they came out, they were professional and courteous and took care of everything. Then when they finally came back to clean out, it took them over a week or a week and a half to do that. They cleaned up and everything was okay. I'm satisfied with the work, but it was too much of a pain in the neck. I wouldn't go through it again."
