"All of a suddenly we were in need of Central Air Conditioning replacement. I reached out to Angie/Home advisor for contractors serving my area and was given 4 contractors. All of them were very polite and knowledge but only one really stand out. David Coates from Hudson Valley Air Control was a pleasure to deal with; he is professional, knowledgeable, and courteous and gave a fair price for the work to be done. Unlike the other contractors, he didnâ t try to sell me anything that I didnâ t need. I checked his reviews and they were all excellent, so, I decided to go with him. I am so glad I did. He was punctual, did excellent job, installed top notch equipment (w/10 years warranty from manufacturer), cleaned up after himself (the only sign that he was here is a brand new Condenser unit on the side of the house) and all for a fair price. The contractor that gave me the next price up from him reached out to me to follow-up on his estimate, and told me that he would be curious to find out what the contractor was not giving me in order to give me such a low price, and my answer is this: what he didnâ t gave me was a RIDE TO THE CLEANERS. I highly recommend Hudson Valley Air Control, and I will definitely use this company again, when/if their services are needed in the future."

"The techs were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. My boiler needed some work and Sync Mechanical was a God send. They kept my home nice and toasty. I've wanted central air installed in my home for quite sometime, and hiring Sync Mechanical was a no brainer. The process was explained to me in full detail and they answered every question I had. "Sometimes you just get lucky. We got super lucky when we hired D. Rohde to fix our A/C. Our technician Mike A. showed up with a helper/trainee, explained the estimate fees and then went to work. In less than 10 minutes he was able to identify the defective part, return to the truck for a new replacement part, and then install the new item. In under 30 minutes our main central A/C was back up and running. The second (upstairs) central air unit took another 10 minutes to diagnose and then about 40 minutes of grueling work in a super-hot attic to drain out the overflow tray, cut, blow-out the drain line, and repair the drain. Once drained, the unit is again working perfectly. It is great when a technician shows up and really is an expert. Mike A. is such an expert and also extremely friendly. Brandon, the assistant/trainee was also great and someday will make a great technician using all the knowledge learned from Mike's expert tutelage. I will recommend these guys to everyone I meet."

"Joe was fantastic. He responded quickly to my inquiry, stayed in touch prior to the repair visit, arrived promptly and quickly resolved the problem with my central AC. His fee was very fair. Previously another HVAC company (not from Home Advisor) told me the unit was unrepairable and needed to be replaced. "First firm I contacted never called or messaged me back. I was given this connection as optional choice to get the estimate/repair done. All bases covered mechanical came out within a few hours and now my A/C is working perfectly again and that’s a good thing as it’s 99 degrees today. "I received service in January 2021 for a problem I was having with my hot water heating system. Problems were solved after replacing some components and I was not happy with the overall outcome of the way the repairs went. I paid for the service and everything was working but I felt like I had been given a wrong diagnosis based on details I will not get into. As a result, I gave an unfavorable rating grade. Recently I was contacted by one of the owners to discuss my experience. Ray and I had a long conversation and came to a reconsideration of the bill I paid. Ray has always been extremely pleasant to converse with and at the conclusion offered to refund the complete charges for the services in question. I never felt like I was taken advantage of, but was not comfortable with the process of the diagnosis and the resulting charges. I was left wondering whether other options, or tests should have been considered but I did not want to seem like I was questioning the technician opinions or skills. I new his skills were on an expert level but that does not necessarily mean that an error could not occur. At any rate I am going to try to remove my original rating and wholeheartedly give 5 stars across the board for Polar heating and plumbing. The fact that I was contacted to discuss my concerns and given a refund when I was not even anticipating this is a testament in itself that they are truly concerned with their customers opinions and ultimately the outcome and status of their work. I will continue to consider them with any needs I have in the future and am removing my earlier rating for them. Businesses that go to this level of customer care are, in my opinion, few and far between. Thanks Ray and all your staff for making me feel much better about the experience I had. I look forward to working with you in the future and I will highly recommend your business to anyone I can."

"Dave worked with us on annual maintenance and some repairs on our oil boiler. Recently moved in and the prior owner did not maintain the system. They did a thorough inspection and clean and it's running great now. Ended up with a few part repairs needed which were thoroughly explained and fixed quickly. Will be coming back to again, and found Dave to be trustworthy and thoughtful."

"We can't say enough about The Belunek Company. Dave (the owner) provided us with a detailed report of his service along with a very fair price for his services. Our drainage system was damaged which led to flooding of the drains around our house. Then, you guessed it, we battled with flooding in our basement. He did a fabulous job and respected our property from beginning to end. He gently removed and replaced hedges that impeded the repair. The repair was reseeded and the hedges were mulched after he replaced them. The job is finished and he left the work area better than he found it. We received quotes for 5 times as much for half the work. Don't look any further for quality work at a price that is more than reasonable."
