"very quick. A little too quick. Found about 20 nail heads showing after completed. Called owner and he came back and covered about 5 in white caulk(on a dark brown roof). Went up and fixed roof myself."

"During a bad storm I started having water coming through the ceiling of my sewing room, the converted garage, where it met the main house. I called two roofers, Mr. Holcomb, who was highly rated in Angie's List, and a second who isn't listed here but was highly recommended by two independent sources. Mr. Holcomb came out first. He came on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. He offered to do a quick fix on my leak and said that if I wanted, I could send him $25 after I'd seen whether this fixed the leak. Then he estimated the full replacement of the roof that I knew I was going to need. <br /> The second roofer was also professional, on time and knowledgeable, and gave me a much lower estimate, so I am  having him replace the roof this spring. However, I was impressed not only with Mr. Holcomb's abilities, but his generosity in letting me choose to pay or not to pay for the quick fix. (I chose to pay.) If the second roofer couldn't schedule my job I'd have no problems going with Mr. Holcomb. <br />"
