"This job was done in February 2017. I just discovered I never finished writing the review. So here it is 3 years later. First, doing this review now lets me tell you that our new metal roof made it through Hurricane Michael with flying colors. We had other storm damage ($25,000 worth) but the roof did fine. The job was done on schedule though interrupted by two afternoon heavy rain events. First class installation by a team that showed up on-time each morning, worked hard and got along well together. They were proud of their work and and cleaned up the site when done even using a magnetic sweeper to lift any roofing nails that might have fallen. The roof we chose was white which made our house really stand out over the gray siding and white trim. Moreover, our HVAC bills were lowered (I track it). Last, I want to tell you that Guyson are more than just roofers after your money. They are fine local people. Recently, my 94 year-old neighbor climbed on his roof to do some repairs. He fell off the roof onto a concrete pad and spent 5 days in intensive care. 20-some staples in his head, boot on his left leg and badly bruised ribs but super lucky to be alive. Needless to say, he's not going to get on the roof anytime soon. I get "the cat claws" when I'm on a pitched roof. So I called Guyson and when they heard the story they came out and looked at the job. Although they are swamped and this is a small job they're gonna do finish the repair anyway. God love 'em. BTW, my neighbor's fall is how I found out I never finished this review I started in 2017."

"Easily stated.......from the inception of the initial contract to the final draw, Master Garage Builders always provided all the details <br /> that were to transpire from the beginning to the end.  No details were left out. Every step of the way Michael Carter, VP of the company made sure his men (no subcontractors ever involved) did the work as was promised via the contract.  The contract was straight forward with complete details of all the materials, labor, pricing, beginning and ending dates, and appropriate draws as the work was being done.  <br /> Having been a banker for over 40 years, I am quite familiar with general contractors contracts and the verbiage that is used. The contract that was provided was simple, completely detailed, and had no surprises. "<p>I bought a foreclosure and had a very short timeframe to fix it up to be livable.  My wife had died in the house I was in and when I explained this to Dan, he worked day and night for the next two weeks helping me rebuild essentially the whole house.  He did a lot of electrical, plumbing, new bathroom, took down walls, put up walls, added heat and A/C to new rooms, moved the air returns, helped with hanging new cabinets, new garage doors, textured walls, drywall, painting, replacing doors, patching, cleaning and painting pool, major tile work and more.  I would definitely use him again for any work we need.  He was very honest and up front with me and didn't try to nickel and dime me out of everything I had.  I'm forever thankful for the amount of work in such a short timeframe his team was able to accomplish.</p> <br />"

"Cutting edge is by far the most trust worthy, concise, and detail oriented contractor I have had the pleasure of doing business with. My husband and I own two houses, one in Monroe county and one in Collier county. We have had many remodeling projects between the two homes since 2004, ranging from backyard renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. It is needless to say,we have dealt with many architects, general contractors, and all their subcontractors. "I had used Dwight for his general Contracting services at a clients property I manage. He beat out 3 other contractors in price and time frame. The owner was ecstatic with the entire project. I decided to use him to remodel our kitchen in my house. I had priced it with 2 other contractors who had no suggestions, were too expensive and were going to take too long. He listened to what we were trying to achieve in look and finish and then gave us a little input. As we went deeper into the project he did his best to keep costs down and yet achieved an incredible result. So good that now we are contemplating remodeling the rest of the house.
