"Adrian did a great job. I would recommend him hands down. He replaced my fence in a Timely manner. Reasonable price also cut down some trees for me and I’m going to have him come back and do some painting for me because he did such a great job. He’s also a very nice person."

"Mike built a custom fence for me I’m on a corner lot I could not be happier with the fence. During the build he was super professional and prompt. I highly recommend for a fence or a repair. He fixed my mothers fence that was leaned and had a couple bad sections came out amazing. I also get a ton of compliments on my fence from the neighbors."

"It was a delight to work with Carrie and Tim Clary. They LISTENED to my needs and their professional input was exactly what i was looking for. Their "time frame" for installation was as it should have been. The installation itself was done to perfection. They left no stones unturned. I have a 4lb puppy, that I was trying to restrain with a nice looking PVC fence. They met my goal! The yard was left neat and tidy, and the installation was completed in one day. You want a good job done, with professional people, go to CARRIE'S FENCE in Palm Bay, FL"

"they were very prompt and professional to visit and do the free estimate. They took a bit longer than anticipated to build the fence, and the sales person completely detached from me once the contract was signed. There was no follow up from him or the company as of the status of the installation unless I initiated it with a phone call. They gave me a day's notice as I requested, but I think I only knew they were coming because I asked.
The day of the job, two men showed up, but a couple hours later I realized there was only one man working. I came out to bring him water and found out the other person was only there to help deliver the material, but he would be working alone because his assistant was hurt on a job recently and is not back yet. For this reason he took a day and a half to finish (which I think was remarkable), but he said under normal circumstances they would have been done in a day for sure.
The gentleman was attentive, courteous, and certainly a hard worker.
When he finished, there was a lot more lose dirt around the site than I anticipated, but I have to assume that if two people were working, the site would have been left much cleaner, so I don't hold this against him. Overall, I think he did an excellent job. The fence is very straight and looks very neat. They used stainless steel on the gate locks for durability, which is a plus.
I got a quote from another company for this same job, and a third one that I made an appointment with never showed up for the estimate. SFR offered a competitive price against the other, about $400 less. I am not overly excited and impressed by their customer service, but I would hire them again if I needed this type of service.

FAQs for barbed wire fence installation projects in Indialantic, FL

Barbed wire is a type of fencing made from steel wire with sharp edges or points spaced along the strands. It's designed to prevent unauthorized entry or contain livestock by acting as a physical deterrent. Barbed wire fences are often seen in agricultural settings or high-security areas because they're effective, durable, and require little maintenance.

You can expect to pay between $3 and $6 per linear foot for a barbed wire fence, including installation. The exact price depends on factors like material quality, number of strands, wire thickness, and labor costs. If you have a larger project, bulk purchasing and hiring a professional might offer cost savings.

The number of strands you need depends on the fence's purpose and the level of security you want. For a standard livestock fence, you might use three to five strands. For higher-security needs, you may require more strands to meet your needs. Consider your specific requirements and talk to your fence installation pro to determine the appropriate number.

Barbed wire fencing regulations vary by location. In many residential areas, the use of barbed wire is restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns. Before installing a barbed wire fence, work with your barbed wire fence installation pro to check local zoning laws and homeowner association rules to ensure compliance with regulations.

The lifespan of a barbed wire fence depends on the quality of materials and environmental conditions. Fences made with high-quality, galvanized wire and proper coatings can last between 20 and 30 years. Regular maintenance and inspections can extend the fence's longevity by addressing issues like rust or damaged strands promptly.
