"First I would like to say I would NOT HESITATE to hire Miracle Method Surface Restoration from Kensington, MD again. The office receptionist (Margaret) and the two gentlemen that did the cut out and install (Carlos and Luis) were EXCELLENT and I would rate them an "A" in all aspects of their roles in the company. The C responsiveness and C Punctuality related to the following: (1) a prearranged appointment resulted in a no show by the company head (this is not our residence); and (2) the representative that did come the next day did not have any photos of previous work or paperwork to move the project ahead. If it wasn't for Margret in the front office we would not have used this company; however, she went out of her way to get a photo of a cut out, ensured that the proposal was revised for details, and scheduled the work. Like I said in the beginning, I would gladly hire and recommend this company. Just be sure to confirm appointments."

"Oscar was a very responsive and provided a thorough survey of the existing chimney.  He produced a quote while onsite.  The quote came in lower than another company previously provided, so I decided to go with Metropolitan.  Oscar was able to accept a 20% deposit via credit card on the spot.  He scheduled our work for the next week.  Two days prior, he called to confirm the installation date and arrival time.  The crew showed up on time and worked the entire day without issue.  Unfortunately it rained for the next few days, so no work was able to be done. The crew did show up again at 4P the day after it stopped raining, and then at 4P the next day to work some more.  Each day they were only able to complete a few things before shutting down.  I imagine this was a result of trying to fit in existing jobs that had to be fit in due to all the rain, but it would have been nice to receive a revised schedule.  The next day was a full work day and the work was complete.  The guys did a nice job cleaning up.  Oscar came by the next morning to show me close up pictures of the work and to collect the final money owed. Overall, I enjoyed working with Oscar.  He seems like a very honest man and I would trust his team to perform future work at our residence.

"It went pretty well. My house didn't get any warmer, because I discovered that I needed windows.  For some reason, they couldn't tell me that I needed windows. I put some plastic over some of the windows, and the change was almost instant. I would have rather put the money I spent for the insulation into putting in new windows. They were professional, and they did a good job. They just missed that I needed windows instead of insulation."

"The service went great. Two installers came out and completed the work in less than a day. They were very thorough and neat in their work. They had to move everything out of the garage and made sure to move everything back the way we liked. We have had no trouble at all with the system. We have been able to put it to good use and I feel like the quality of product is very durable. It brightens the garage space and makes everything so much nicer. "Various people told me that repairing a single pane in a 12 pane French window door couldn't be done, and I would have to buy two new doors for hundreds of dollars!   I called Renaissance Restoration because of its great rating on Angie's list and proximity to my home to see if they had a solution. Rene Lopez was very responsive in meeting me to assess and measure the window and help me obtain a replacement window.  Despite my frequent inaccessibility at one place for any given time, he persisted in a most gentlemanly manner to schedule a time to install the pane.  Glass shard removal, wood frame dissection and window caulking were performed efficiently and neatly so that I can't easily tell the replacement was ever made!  Mr. Lopez  is pleasant, professional, prompt and reasonably priced.  Highly recommended!
