"I found them through Angie's List. Heather was very friendly, yet professional, in setting up the first visit to give an estimate to install the fans. Brian showed up as scheduled. He was as friendly and professional as Heather. We set a tentative date for the installation which Heather later confirmed. Brian and a helper were here at the agreed time and did the installation in much less time than I expected. I was amazed with the care and skill he used to cut through the wall and ceiling. Originally I thought I was going to have to get someone to patch the wall and ceiling. Brian was able to skim over the cuts so that all was needed was a light sanding and touch-up paint. After that pleasing experience and the reasonable pricing, I called to schedule the telephone repairs. Again Brian show up as we scheduled. He was very knowledgeable and was able to determine the problem and quickly make the repairs. During a conversation about other things I needed to have done, he gave me several recommendations of carpenters to do some other work for me. In addition, he did a couple of quick projects for me which saved me from having to find someone else to do them. I have the highest confidence in his work and would highly recommend him."

"OMG!! Where have these guys been hiding! I called several other companies because my pool was continuously losing water but none of them could seem to find the source. Within about an hour these gentlemen concluded that I had a main drain leak. They repaired the leak the next day and also took over the pool maintenance service. (They even pressure washed my deck!!) My pool has never looked nor functioned better. I would highly recommend the professionalism and knowledge of these men to anyone!"

"Noel came promptly and completed replacing the rotted out wood under a piece of gutter.  It is serviceable but leaves a little to be desired cosmetically since it wasn't painted.  He put in a piece of sheetrock to cover the space left by the skylight.  I asked him to use as much insulation as necessary (I have bunches in the attic), but he didn't feel that was necessary and used a piece of styrofoam.  He put the sheetrock in place and taped the edges and mudded the edges.  He sanded the sheetrock and the entire living room was covered with dust which he cleaned up admirably.  He sprayed some popcorn product on the ceiling and that was a huge mess,  While we were waiting for everything to dry, he hung a ceiling fan (why there were left over parts is a total mystery to me).  He also moved a light kit from one ceiling fan to another and in the process fried the motor on my Casablanca fan.  He was supposed to return to take the fan down so I could have it repaired.  He did offer to replace the fan but this is a costly deal and I offered to have it repaired (he would pay) rather than replace the fan.  He never showed up or called or answered my email.  I was out of town for a period of time but no one has tried to get in touch with me to repair or replace my ceiling fan, to complete the ceiling or to install the light lens on the sky tunnel Noel installed the first go around (he dropped the original lens and I had to purchase another). I gave Noel a goodly amount of oil paints and brushes in part payment for his services.  He hasn't completed any additional job he started, I am very sorry to say.  He's a nice person, fun to talk with, immensely talented but way over his head and I'm extremely disappointed.  I hired another contractor to repair my celing and take my fan down.  Sorry Noel."

FAQs for swimming pool or accessories repair or service projects in Indian Trail, NC

A pool light replacement often doesn't require draining the water. Most pool lighting systems include sufficient cable length to lift the fixture onto the deck for servicing. The process involves shutting off power at the circuit breaker, removing the mounting screw, and carefully extracting the unit. Professional technicians follow established protocols to maintain safety during this procedure, as the combination of electricity and water requires proper precautions throughout the replacement process.

Replacement intervals vary significantly by light type. Incandescent bulbs require changing every 1,000 to 5,000 hours of operation, while LED options can function for 20,000 to 30,000 hours before needing replacement. Fiber optic lighting falls between these extremes, offering close to 6,000 service hours. Your usage patterns will affect these timeframes, and regular inspection for moisture penetration or connection problems helps prevent premature failures regardless of light technology.

LED pool lighting commands higher prices because these fixtures incorporate sophisticated electronics, superior waterproofing, and premium materials to withstand harsh pool chemicals. The extended operational life—up to six times longer than conventional bulbs—offsets the initial investment over time. Their significantly reduced power consumption also translates to lower electricity expenses throughout their lifespan. Many LED systems also offer programmable color options and effects not available with basic lighting technologies.
