He was knowledgeable and gave me what I thought was a fair quote of $1,800. The two other quotes I got for the same job were for $2,950. and $4,800. I am very familiar with home construction work as I have lived in my home since 1961 and have had 2 major add-ons and several inside remodels done during the past 59 years. Lifetime Construction showed up precisely on time for appointments ( a rarity among contractors) and performed the work as contracted. I would definitely use them again. "As many of you know--finding a reputable home improvement company can be quite a challenge. We had some major projects to do in our yard and initially reached out to multiple companies requesting bids on building a 40 x 10 foot pergola, repairing a cedar fence and staining another major structure in our yard. Our experience in contacting home improvement companies was so disappointing. Inaccurate bids, no shows, and people showing up that presented themselves as home improvement companies but didn’t know what the heck they were doing. The only company that took the time to provide frequent consultation, accurate estimates, multiple visits to our property and consistent follow-up was Twin City Handyman! The entire staff was attentive to our needs and the projects were well done and completed on time. They cared about us as home owners and made strides to help us through this construction (we have 4 kids, so keeping our laundry up and running was essential to maintaining sanity in the household).
