"Wonderful.. The quote he gave me was detailed and seemed fair for all of the detailed work that he had to do. He came on time and worked a full day daily. He used paint that didn't have an odor so that it would not affect my pregnancy. We paid him the deposit he requested and the rest upon completion and he was super professional! I would use him again anytime."

"I recently had plumbing work done at my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The plumber was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue and had it fixed efficiently(same day), leaving everything clean and tidy afterward. The pricing was fair and transparent, and they took the time to explain what was being done and why. It’s rare to find such reliable service these days I highly recommend them and will definitely call again for any future plumbing needs!"

"He repaired the damage to the walls, put foam insulation over the walls, wrapped the house with house wrap and put the siding up. He installed 3 windows in the garage, he wrapped the windows and the fascia boards, installed soffit panels and wrapped around the doors. The craftsman work that he applied around the house gave it a more detail look which makes the house stand out. <br />"

"Robert Bump and his crew at The Design Gallery are top notch in every respect. They have a very talented design team who put together an excellent design scheme and could provide beautiful, high quality products: plumbing, kitchen appliances, counter tops, lighting, carpet, hardwood flooring, ... everything . The guys who actually did the work were professional in every respect - top notch work, very prompt, careful to clean up every day, and produced an excellent rresult. We were delighted with every aspect of this project. The team was very respectful of our family and pets and were extremely easy to work with. We felt like we had made a new group of friends. Robert himself was on the job checking results every day and made sure every detail was completed correctly and to his standards. I heartily recommend Robert and his crew to anyone considering any type of home improvement. We plan to call upon them next year for a new deck and possibly a new attached garage, including a new laundry room."

"He showed up at the agreed upon time and started the work. I was a bit concerned at first because I wanted the job done in under a week and I expected he would show up with at least one helper but he was by himself. Turned out not to be a problem, he did the taping and first coat all on the first day, returned two days later and did the second coat in about half a day and came back a day later and touched up in a couple hours. I was very impressed with the speed at which he did all this and the quality was very good. I was hoping to just paint the ceilings and not have to do texturing and the quality of his work was more than sufficient to allow this. (For those who may not be familiar with ceiling drywall, because of the large surface area with few interruptions and the fact that a person's eye level is within a couple feet of the ceiling, any imperfections in the mudding will create shadows that will be very visible. That's why so many builders use textureing on the ceilings because it makes life much easier for the drywall finishers by hiding imperfections.) The ceiling in the 16 x 16 foot master bedroom is just painted and there are no discernible imperfections, ridges, waves or anything. This is especially impressive since I hung the drywall myself and not being a pro there were some large gaps between sheets and other man made imperfections. All things considered I am very pleased with the quality and speed of the work he did. He spent about 16 hours total over three visits which was far less than I expected it would take. He was professional throughout the job and didn't leave until I had inspected every square foot (he did touch up a couple of spots, but very quickly without complaint). I would definately use him again."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Irwinton, GA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
