"Please see the earlier review (3/12) for context. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mt. Valley Foundation Services regarding our sump pump installation. Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!"

"Great! These folks are incredibly on the ball. Doug C. came.. diagnosed problem.. called in major part needed.. they were able to locate part locally .. another team member delivered it after a short while.. it was installed and we had heat before nightfall and the temperatures began to drop! Their personnel are so professional and personable. The company is large enough that there is usually minimal waiting time.. although as everyone knows.. first called, first served. Only fair. We subscribed to their maintenance plan for all Hvac units for house.. hoping to find future concerns before they render us heatless or sweltering during the next year."

What started as a clogged toilet/bath turned into replacement pipes and pumping out and filling in old, old septic tanks that have not been used for over 40 years. I was kept informed every step of the way. Each process fully explained, including costs involved. Prior reviews of his work on Angie's List + direct conversations with recent customers provided outstanding references, so going with Crawl Space Doctor was an easy decision. Greg provided the most complete approach to solving our moisture and fungus problem. His approach toward a sump pump over a dehumidifier was counter to the recommendations from 2 other bidders but research on my part indicated he was correct in not taking the typical (yet unnecessary) approach.
Greg kept us informed of the project schedule every day, he checked in on his crew regularly, and we can't say enough good things about the work that his crew did on our formerly gross and unhealthy crawl space. They were prompt, neat, amazingly quiet for the amount of remediation they did and cleaned up the work site each day and upon departure. Our crawl space is clean enough to eat dinner down there and now suitable for storing some things I would never consider placing in our attic because of the intense heat up there in the summer months.

"We recently purchased a recently renovated century old farmhouse. We were not expected to use the home warranty that came with out purchase, but so happy we had it within months of moving in we had failures of the appliances. Then we learned the title agency paid the wrong home warranty company. We made the title company pay the proper warranty company covered in our contract due to reviews --- best decision we made. They were help in sorting out the problems with the Title Company and they made sure we were happy with the repairs. When one repairman bailed on us, American Home Shield came to the rescue. Couple of months later a pump failed on the clothes washer and it was repaired in just a few days. $75 for each claim for the service call and the repair is covered. I am afraid they have paid more than the cost of my policy at this point. But that is what insurance is for. Definitely keeping them in the future. Highly recommend."
