"As always, National Water does a great job for me.  Dave and his company have been the sole water support for my home since we built and moved in Aug. 2003.  They are incredibly responsive - for example, our hot water heater went out at 11pm on a very cold winter night back in 2005.  I called the emergency line, expecting to leave a message.  Not only did I get an answer, but they were out the very next morning to resolve the problem.  Another time, we were out of town, and our water stopped working over the weekend.  We had a house guest at our home, we called, and on Sunday afternoon National Water was there!

Besides emergency issues, Dave and his team provide excellent maintenance services.  We are on well water, which in our case has created a few issues:  Poor water pressure, hard water and after storms, dirty water from mud and sand.  National Water has put on systems to our water to resolve all three of these issues.  They maintain it annually and are available for any problems. 

National Water, several years back replaced our hot water heater to a much more energy efficient system that never runs out of hot water!

"Our service technician was David. He arrived earlier than expected and went straight to work. Our new pump was installed in less than one hour. We were pleased with the work. He came after hours 6:30pm and did not charge an exorbitant fee. He was pleasant and very informative when asked questions. If there was a topic he was not familiar with he answer "I'm not sure". I like reliable companies with professional employees. We had another plumber come earlier and wanted to charge us $452 dollars for a 1/2 HP pump that cost on average $242, $200 for accessories for installation (I paid $276 taxes included for pump and accessories), labor charge to go and pick up the pump and to install the pump. His price $1252. I was told that it was considered an emergency so that is why the price was so high. This was the morning two days after the flood. After we got the pump we called several times and no response as of yet, He's off my list completely. I share this illustration so that buyers can make educated decisions about how best to spend their money. I don't assume that the plumber whose charges were 50% higher than anyone else I called on Angies List. I simply say do your homework and know what is considered a fair price. "At 7pm on Saturday the 15th, In the middle of the Presidents` Day holiday, the value on my tenant’s apartment radiator started to leak at the rate of 1/2 c every half hour. My house, and the radiator, is 111 years old. I frantically called two 24 hour emergency plumbers and none of them came through. I then called Magnolia, who I had never used before, and Jose Vilche came to my house 40 minutes later. He had to drain the radiators and shut off the water flow as he could not remove the valve, but about 8:20 the next morning he arrived with his assistant, Angel, to cap that radiator and refill the system. He returned on Tuesday, as I had to work on Monday, with his supervisor who was finally able to remove the valve. The radiator stays capped until Tuesday the next week (accommodating my work schedule) when Vincent and Angel install the new valve. I had them also install a new drain valve on a second apartment radiator. So now, after all the draining and bleeding and testing for water balance, the radiators are functioning better than they ever had before. While Magnolia is not inexpensive, the cost was definately worth my peace of mind. Jose was in constant contact with me, he arrived exactly on schedule, explained each step along the way and worked diligently on my horrible problem until it was resolved. Thank you Magnolia- this was a stressful time for me and I was very satisfied with the service I had received!"

"We've used Constantly Running for plumbing issues such as fixture replacements and pipe leaks and have been very satisfied with work performed by James Russell, proprietor, and his staff.  We'd had them out to install a new garbage disposal and snake a slow bathtub drain.  While cleaning out the drain James discovered that there was a small hole in the drain pipe that had been covered by accumulations of debris that once removed, allowed water to drain through the hole onto the ceiling of the room below.  In conversations about the state of the bathroom in general, we'd mentioned that it was our intention at some point to have the bathroom renovated. They had to return to replace the defective portion of drain pipe and repair the ceiling of the room below and while they were working, James offered to renovate the bathroom at a price that sounded eminently reasonable.  I wasn't aware that this was a service he offered, but since we've always been impressed with his work, we decided to go ahead with the project.  At first glance if looked straight-forward, in term of removing old wall and floor tile and replacing it, as well as the tub enclosure and the vanity.  It turned out to be a larger project, as the all the walls and flooring need to be taken down to the wood frame.  The walls and flooring were replaced, and new tiles, fixtures and paint that we had chosen and purchased were installed.  The craftmanship was exemplary.  James and his staff were totally competent, eminently courteous and friendly, and the job was done in a timely manner.  The renovation turned out better than we had ever thought possible, and we are very happy to have been able to work with him, and hope to do so again with another bathroom.

"This is really a great company. Super-responsive, fair prices, and, most importantly, quality work done by knowledgable and hard-working folks. I initially called about a leaky kitchen faucet and the owner contacted me right away and was at my house within the hour. He diagnosed my problem immediately, recommended a solution, gave me a reasonable estimate, and said it would be taken care of that day. I was so impressed that I decided to ask for a quote on replacing an aging sump pump and water heater. I wound up having those replaced as well. They also installed a frost-free spigot in front of the house when I mentioned the issues I was having with the ancient "vacuum breaker" that sprayed water everywhere and that I simply could not remove myself. Now flash-forward to 2 weeks later: I detected a water-stain on my living room ceiling which I deduced was probably coming from an upstairs toilet. The issue was determined to be a deteriorated "wax ring". Rather than doing a repair, I decided-- at no urging from them-- to have both of the 30-year old toilets in my house replaced with new units. The job was done quickly and professionally in just a couple of hours. Few things are as stressful to homeowners as plumbing and water-related issues. However, it is a relief to know that there are competent, responsive professionals out there like Kelly that you can turn to when the need arises."
