Watry LLC was a pleasure to work with. I purchased my house in late November 2014 knowing that the roof would need to be replaced. A few leaks showed up with this spring's snow melt. I called a few companies for estimates.  Scott Watry was very clear and straightforward when he came to do an estimate. No high-pressure sales tactics. Very clear about what materials were going to be used and about the warranty. Watry had the best price and the nearest available start date, so I went with them.

The initial estimate was that the roof would take one day. Due to unexpected structural oddities, the roof took a second day to complete. Scott Watry was very clear in communicating the reason why the project was taking longer than expected, and was clear in explaining that there would be an increase in the final cost. For the extra time and labor needed, the increased cost was very reasonable. The crew arrived on time each day and did excellent work. The flashings around all the valleys, the chimney, the plumbing vents and the skylight were all expertly done. Old, inefficient square vents were removed in favor of ridge venting along all ridges. The project was done in 40 degree weather, but the shingles laid down very quickly, which points to the quality of work the crew did. Scott Watry promised his crew would use six nails per shingle, which is exactly what they did. Along with the quality of workmanship, they were very thorough in their cleanup. I did not find any nails or bits of roofing material left behind after the first day or after the project was completed. The job involved the tearoff of two layers of very old shingles, along with flashings that were rusted through in many places. The fact that I could not find any mess left behind points to the care with which Watry Homes does their work.

All in all, I was very satisfied with Watry Homes LLC and would recommend them without reservation to anyone who needs to have a new roof installed.

"Called Ben and asked if he could replace the shingles that were damaged from removing Satellite dish's that were on the roof. he came when he said he would and was early did a great job on replacing the shingles and cleaned up everything. I would highly recommend Ben and his company for any work that needs to be done on your house.

"I've worked with many contractors over the years and JJB is the best I've worked with for residential remodeling. That's no small statement. JJB is responsive, communicative, on-time and on-schedule, does not cut corners, always willing to tackle new issues or problems that arise during construction, respectful of neighbors / other tenants, and very fairly priced for the quality of work that they provide. We even had some city permitting issues from prior construction that JJB was able to take on and get cleared up. I can't express how much headache this saved me! On top of being great contractors, Joe and Jeff and their team are also just great people - very personable, easy to communicate with, and a pleasure to be around. They really desire to make their customers happy and to do good work. You won't find any cheap shortcuts or shoddy work with this team. "Even though I was late looking to book someone to refinish my deck for the summer, Majic Painting came through and was able to fit me in between jobs. They showed up and took the time to tell me all about my deck -- this is a new house for me and I wasn't sure exactly what I had -- and then went out to the truck and wrote up an estimate in 10 minutes.
They scheduled me for about a week later. Day one was a pressure washing. They made sure to mask off my painted siding and the patio are under the deck. The next day they returned and sanded the entire deck to make sure all the old oil was gone. Since my deck is Brazilian Tigerwood, they couldn't just use stain -- it needed a special application of oil.
They even replaced a few trim pieces that I had knocked off and lost during winter shoveling.
They stopped by a third time to check how the finish turned out and to make sure I was happy.
Overall I can't say enough good things. The deck still looks great. Would definitely hire Majic Painting again.
