"Prompt response… very professional! I have been without a sink for two weeks, called a few companies and no follow up.. Tejadas was able to fit me in right away.. they were at my home on time and did a great job cutting my granite countertop and positioned my sink to get installed by the plumber… I would definitely hire them again for any future jobs"

"We hired Brian Spear to gut and renovate our coop at Birch Hill. Brian offered great insight with design concepts, took initiative and did an outstanding job on the project with the help of his intelligent, kind and skilled team that reflect his true intentions. Everything they did, they did well. The only improvement for all our sakes would have been to get a clear idea of overall cost in a contract but itâ  s clearly a hard time to do that with material costs, labor costs etc. We are in the home stretch now and have a short check list for Brian. He may not be back soon, but we know he will return when he can. Brian is a super guy and keeps on smiling. Thank you Brown Dog!"

"Received several estimates on power washing but was hesitant with hiring just anyone due to the fact of putting our home on the market. Aldenpainting was very knowledgeable and professional, hired him on site."

"Laurie is very punctual with response. I was a small repair so I had to wait in line.  Communication was good but there was a delay in starting due to overunns with other jobs. The job was estimated as a refit, the refit was a fix.  In my opinion the pricing did not reflect a fix. The estimate was to have a flush doorbell, but due to prior construction that was not possible so the new one was installed with no adjustment in the estimate.  <strong>I was given a credit</strong> for metal work that was not done and estimated for in the refit. The job was subcontracted.  The tradesman was very polite, courteous and willing to do what he could to make this repair work.  We had a gap to deal with and limited solutions so <strong>I went with him to get some door insulation to fill the gaps</strong>. It seemed to be the best for the circumstances.  Would a refit have eliminated the gaps?  I can not answer that question.  A fix was what was done. <br /> I had a call from Laurie minutes after the contractor left to give him the check.  I told her it was already in the mail.  I was thanked for my business. <br /> I believe that this company is reputable.  I think they probably  do good work on large projects.  I was given a verbal reference from another client that was satisfied with a very large job. They were impressd with the owners creativity.  I did not have the opportunity to be on the receiving end of that creative expertise. I most likely would not come back especially for a small job. <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Jamaica, VT

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
