He and the other staff members were extremely helpful when I contacted them in a rush after firing my previous countertop installer. They did everything they could to get the measurements and installation done as quickly as possible since we had already been without counters 3 weeks by that point. The installation itself was quickly and expertly done, and the countertops are gorgeous. The seam connecting two pieces is so thin, and the pattern on the quartz matched so well, that you have to look really hard to see it. "Everything went really well. Jason came to my house with granite samples. We selected the granite. After our cabinet was completed, Seth came to our house and retook measurements. Then we went to the slab yard to see the stone that would be installed. We were able to select the corner of the slab that would be cut for us. The granite was installed today, as scheduled. He's very knowledgeable on countertops and helped us pick a silestone material that matches our cabinets very well. Within hours of his visit we received a very reasonable estimate from Maxwell. The actual work started as planned and the countertop guys did an excellent job. The seams are barely visible. During the whole process Maxwell was either present or in constant contact with us to make sure everything goes well. The renovated kitchen turns out beautiful. "I was interested in engineered wood .I had visited a few stores before heading to the Tile Guy to get some idea about the type of wood , My preference was going to an exotic hardwood brand which is not very well known <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> It turns out that the Tile guy also carries that brand for better price and better delivery.  I was not shopping for a bargain but i had realized that the staircase would be expensive due to the stairnose . stairnose can be very expensive : prices and stairnose strip lenghts are very different from one brand to another . Without compromising on the quality, I could get the project done for $1200 less than i had been originally quoted on supply . <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Kevin and his team were very helpful and professional. They are very knowledgeable . <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />They went the extra mile when some stairnose strips had been damaged in a box (from the outside , the box was looking fine so that was really a bad surprise because we had only a few stairs left to do ) ,  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> I had to return to the Tile Guy store in emergency with the damaged stairnose strips.They called the supplier immediately in Houston, .got me new stairnoses via Fedex within 2 days so that the contractor could finish the job in the following week. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I will use again their service in the future whether this is for hardwood or tile . I called Ultra Services and three other firms that were highly rated by rating services such as Angi, Google and Yelp to bid on the restoration project. The contrast between Ultra Services and the other three other firms was day and night. Ultra Services came out and took the time to take detailed notes on required work. Then they provided a detailed estimate that gave me a cost breakdown of all individual charges that I could compare to an insurance estimate. They were crystal clear about what was and was not included in their bid. As I learned more about what was needed, they cheerfully revised their estimate with the changes. Other firms simply gave me a final figure with almost no breakdown of costs, leaving me to wonder what specifics were actually included. In all, working with Ultra Services was a very positive experience in an otherwise very stressful time. Just as I was ready to commit to using Ultra Services I discovered that a friend of 20 years owned a company that performed only insurance related restoration claims work, and used the same estimation software that the insurance company used to align estimates and actuals. In the end, I did not engage Ultra Services, but it would be a disservice to not report that the quality of their up-front service is very impressive and highly recommended by me."
