My boyfriend could have done the same job. I wanted them to actually replace the dry wall where it was cracking. "Miguel and his crew did a good job and their price was WELL below other licensed contractor estimates (Miguel is licensed by the Contractors State License Board...with no complaint activity... is bonded and, according to the CSLB, has workers' comp for his employees...he also has an A+ rating with the BBB). Communication was a little hit-and-miss (particularly by email), but if it was important he always got back to me quickly (since I suspect that he's in the field quite a bit, texting and phone calls work best). He stuck to the anticipated install schedule and completed the demo and install in the same day (as promised). I had some minor issues that I had him come back for and he and his crew were very quick in returning to take a look (the issue ended up being with the granite itself and nothing that they had done)."
