"Derk came out and did a thorough inspection and made recommendations on what needed to be done.  He took measurements throughout the house and then discussed his recommendations on what should be done.  Rather than use the scare approach and put down other companies the way other contractors had done, he took a more conservative approach to fixing the problem and was extremely professional in explaining what he would be doing.  .  <br /> He put piers around the entire perimeter of the house and when it was completed, the house felt good as new.  He did explain that leveling the house would not fill in the cracks that showed up when the house had settled but we had high hopes it would.  He told us to wait 90 days to fix the interior cracks and warned us that more cracking could occur.  We waited and did the work and five months later, we have no signs of any more problems. <br /> The only negative thing I can say is that his workers left the area littered with water bottles but when I pointed it out to him, he had it taken care of immediately. <br /> Communication was excellent.  He responded right away any time i had a question. <br />   <br />"

The areas we thought needed to be redone i.e. mortar and chalking touch ups G.L. Hunt came out the net day and redid everything we asked them to redo. The also informed us to call them after 90 days and they will redo measurements again to ensure everything was okay. They advised us to put up glitters around the house and they did checked our plumbing under the house within 30 days to ensure our plumbing was okay after lifting the house. We got 4 estimate and we are very happy we selected G.L. Hunt to Do our foundation work. GL Hunt did an excellent job."
