"I worked with Felipe who works for Alamo Stone. I had text him pictures of the sink. My sink became unglued from the granite countertop and collapsed. For several days I tried finding someone to repair it. Granite company people said it was a plumbing issues and plumbers said it was a granite problem. I knew it wasn't big money like a totally cracked counter top, but Felipe gave me the time of day. It wasn't. plumbing issue. The house was built in 1983 so the glue had just decomposed over time. "This bathtub refinished exceeded expectations. Astar made the tub look better than new, and turned an ugly eyesore into an a quality tub. They took the time to sand the old iron tub, and they did a careful job of covering every surface in the bath so that no mess was made. They were prompt and careful, and I would highly recommend anyone with a problem tub use this service. No mess was made on the surrounding tile walls or floor, and the job was finished in a few hours. After it cured, the bath fixtures were reinstalled, and they even added a non skid finish. I am considering having them fix a vintage sink in another bathroom."

"I couldn't be happier with this company. We did a total remodel of our kitchen and kept getting postponement of the delivery of the island and bar countertops. They would give up one time frame and then move it to a later time. We called Armadillo and they came out the next day. In a little over a week, Mario installed the new island and bar. "All work was completed in less than a week. Miguel Rios and his crew did an excellent job with the floors. They had to level the concrete floors/foundation in some places for proper installation. 
I did not want the blinds installed until the dust (stirred up from removal of the carpet) was removed from the walls and windows.
They cleaned up the dust and then the blinds were installed in one day. Installation of the blinds was well-done.
I am really enjoying my new beautiful floors! So glad I got rid of all that carpet.
I called Fine Floors several months later to fix a minor problem. Miguel came out very soon after that call and fixed the problem.

"We chose Kirk because of his excellent reviews on Angie's List, and because of his response to a less than perfect review as well.  His passion for getting the work done to please the customer convinced us to have him bid on our project.
Kirk came on time and listened to what we thought we wanted, and submitted a plan to scale.  At that point we realized we had been a bit over ambitious, and we asked him to scale down our plans.  He did so and resubmitted the  plan and estimate in a very timely manner.  We were very pleased with the plan and the price and gave him the go ahead.
He accurately estimated the time it would take to do the project.  When he was part way through he called and we went to see the cabinets and see the stain samples he had made for our job.  We loved what we saw.   The stain was perfect.
He finished the project well within the time he estimated and installed the cabinets paying close attention to detail.  They are beautiful!  They are even better than we imagined and suit their purpose exactly.  These custom cabinets make the whole room look complete.  I smile every time I walk by them.
We will definitely use Kirk again.  His craftsmanship is top notch and he is all about pleasing the customer.  He is also very reliable about calling to let us know about his progress and showing up on time.  We have found that getting all of those qualities in the construction industry is really quite rare.
