"I had a major plumbing issue in my House. The main waste pipe that connects my shower, toilet, sink and kitchen Broke. It was a 4 inch cast iron pipe that was about 14 feet long. It was accessible by a crawl space under my house. So, I started to call (several) local Plumbing companies. The plumbers who showed up, looked at everything. Then told me I had to rip up my kitchen and Livingroom floor to fix the pipe. (None of the Plumbers wanted to use the crawl space.) One local plumber wanted 200 dollars up front just to show up. Every Plumber gave me very expensive estimates for the work. When I accepted the work offer by one very well known company. The 2 men who showed up refused to do the work then left.
