Its not like I could turn my water off. John came out and bypassed the meter. The price was reasonable I thought. I would use him again. I have referred him to many people. The first thing is that he was the only one who would come promptly. He came in 2 hours. He bypassed came back 2 days later. They had to dig up my lawn to replace the pipe and when they were done you could not even tell they had touch the lawn. You could not see where they had dug it up. They were on time and did the job quickly and efficiently. I couldn't say enough good things."

He also was happy to take a few minutes (at no charge) to explain to me how to take care of some minor plumbing connection and repair issues on my own, as well as to give rough estimates for some larger plumbing work I was considering. <br /> The charge was on a time-and-materials basis, at $85/hr for labor. I don’t know if this is a typical labor rate, so I didn’t provide a rating for price. <br />"

"There was a bad water leak and time was a factor. He was able to do it the next day after the quote. He charged 800 dollars for what turned out to be 2.5 hours of work. In order to save him time and effort, actually, he used plastic piping instead of copper and then argued his way out of it after he was told that we wanted copper piping and expected quality materials to be used in the job since it cost so much. Overall, it was a complete rip off. <br />"
